Love the video. Took your time hitting the important details. Water landing is the first time I’ve seen anyone actually show this on YT. Nice! Q: Can this be charged in the truck with a converter, or only at home? We fish some remote spots without access to normal current etc.

I have not tried charging it that way because I carry a 1000w power bank to charge the batteries. I would have to ask swellpro about that.

I seen the swell pro fd4 can flip over in water, can this drone do the same been trying to find but haven’t seen any videos

Have you had a problem with the heavy baits/loads swinging below the drone and causing your drone to lose control, fly erratic or crash? I had a weight(2lbs exactly )about three feet below my phantom 4 and when i came to a stop the weight would swing and cause my drone to go nuts and I even crashed once but it was it tall grass thankfully. Ever had these issues and if so how did you stop/mitigate it??

I have not had that issue, especially with just 2lbs. I have safely flown around 8lbs with no issue with the fd2. 2lbs is easy with this drone, you could fly like 10 times with it if only using 2lbs.

The new Swell pro drone is the Chinook to my Swell pro 3+ Huey chopper lol. That drone is a massive !

Can you share how you charge your batteries with a power bank?

When you demonstrated the charging, you said the battery was completely dead, and that it would take a couple hours. It was reading 22.8 V. Is that what you are landing it with?

Not usually, most of the time I tie a mono leader.

I had previously asked you a question about your other Drone but I soon learned its CO$T was prohibitive to my ability to afford...... lol, but then I had an idea about using a less expensive drone & I specifically asked you a tough question about the "Latch System Part" that's on the drone? I asked can that part be purchased b/c if it can then a person w/ less money might be able to attach it to another drone & simply add the radio commands to your current "board". A simple open/shut mod similar to how we turn left or right ? You just need 1 extra channel on your radio transmitter & the Part I asked about? Perhaps I'll contact them to see? IF I do that, I'll drop the info back here for all those inquiring minds? peace man

Was looking into getting one, but illegal it’s illegal in North Carolina. Make sure you check your state regulations on drone fishing, drones that size also require a drone license.

Love the vids but for $2300 it better reel in the fish too. Can buy a very nice kayak for that

Yeah definitely buy a good yak. What I really like about this drone is that when people are unable to yak baits because the wind is +15mph with 4ft breakers, I can still drop a bait.

That charger is just a basic 4 button hobby charger with special connectors. Honestly there's no reason you can't charge that batt at 1c IMO
