This tank was sold once on the NA server. The sale was strangely not heavily advertised unlike most tank sales. The sales lasted for I believe around 5 days, this was well over a year ago. I managed to pick one up and its one of my favourite tanks. I have an old replay from last June where I managed 7.5k damage in a 1v4. Super fun tank!

@@a7xFaNool I remembered that too, it was sold on January of 2019, there's an article on the armored patrol. The reason not many people own it is that it sucked at the time and got significant buffs in 2021.

Interesting fact: I'm friends with Gabriel, and he chose the isu-130 as one of the rewards for being Brazilian World of Tanks Champion in 2022.

Im playing wot for 8 years and im watching videos about it for that amount of time and gotta say this was something else omg 11.5 k on tier 8 is such an unbeliavable score you cannot exaggarate it

This tank has a perfect example of gold round balance, I have it and it is a menace if you use distance. You can destroy anyone that gets Close to you in 3-5 shots, sub 8-second reload with a tier 10 alpha damage.

@Kferler I understand your logic, but getting consistent damage would be the issue there. If you could press 2 to do a guaranteed 260 over a possible bounce with a 390 alpha gun. I bet most will still choose gold for consistent damage. That is why I say the ISU-130 is the best example of gold balance. It takes knowledge/ RNG to do damage with lower pen/ higher damage shell.

its great to see this one featured so well! If I remember it was originally on the NA server as a gift to NA community contributors. Then it was sold a few years back on NA as one of the early multi tier bundles wargaming does. That's how I have mine, its one of my favorites for frontline.

I got the 130 when it was on sale on the EN server, it was like 5 years ago or something. I get so easily distracted that I have not played it much at all, but I really liked the premium ammo mechanic, so I still ended up buying it.

Yep, I remember it being sold on the NA server... 1 - 3 years or so ago. I thought about getting it when I saw it in the shop. Couldn't justify the purchase at the time, what with college expenses draining the bank account. I love my ISU-152 though, so I'm sure I would've loved this one as well.

This tank has actually been sold multiple times on the NA server over the last couple years. I’ve had mine since before it was buffed. The penetration used to be way worse, the gun traverse was only 2 degrees to the left, and it had a pretty limited amount of ammo. It’s a very easy tank to mark and get aces in though.

It was sold on loot box recently on asia server along with the TL-7

It has ''Semi-Armor Piercing rounds'' which in reality trades penetration for explosive filler mass

Pretty certain NA has a bundle sale where they sold the Isu-130 and the Isu-152K were sold together

This tank is a monster. It heavily reminds me of what the SU-100Y and the Charioteer can do and this is what premium ammo should be. Pay more but less penetration with the chance of doing about 15-20% more damage.

NA player here, and I own one of these. I picked it up when it was on sale on the NA store, thinking if I don't get it now, I won't be able to again since the sale wasn't really advertised well. If I remember right, the ISU-130 wasn't actually as good as it is now back then, since it received a few buffs at one point. My biggest gripe with it was the extremely narrow firing arc, which made French TD's look like the Tortoise in comparison, and also a rather terrible ammunition capacity of only 25 rounds. It was very easy to run out of shells with that crazy rate of fire. I'm not sure if it's still as bad as it used to be, as I don't play much anymore due to a lack luster ISP, but despite not having been good at playing it, I'm still glad I own it.

This was given for writing a book about something like a tutorial or guide or a certain topics, Idk remember criteria but it was given to the authors and forum moderators.

I got one of these a few years back during the Christmas special. I've put a few replays on the WOT replay server with your name on it. I'll put some more up. I've been grinding for 3 years almost have 6 skills. I like this tank.

This is just an idea/proposal, but one of my ideas to fix the premium ammo situation is to incorporate the tank shells into a tank's tech tree so that you need to research them to use them, and here are "some reasons" why this could be good: 1: Wargaming could give the players more options to choose which shell type they want to use instead of always sticking to the regular 2: Since there would be more different shells, Wargaming could just make each shell balance each other out so that no one ammo is all purpose 3: and finally, each shell could be given an advantage that all other shells would not have (like one could have the best damage output, and another could have better penetration, shell velocity etc) The different shell types you could carry would be limited to either 2 or 3 (just like artillery) so that players would tactically need to choose which shells they should carry to fit their play style, and if you object against my idea, lets not argue and scream like lunatics when we have incompetent teammates or a sort of bad luck, but have a civil discussion

different shells already do different things. HEAT shells dont lose pen over distance and has the highest pen i think BUT it gets absorbed by tracks and cant overmatch angles. APCR travels the fastest but loses pen over distance but can overmatch angles.

I have this tank on Blitz, can confirm when you get that magical MM when you are fighting mostly lower tier tanks with hopefully not much armour, there's nothing as savage as this tank 😀 just have to watch those hit points tho 😅

If you want a ISU130 but do not have access to it, watch for the ISU 122s! The game play is extremely similar!

nah isu122s have very bad gun handling, meanwhile isu130 can snapshot on ridge line just as good as tier 10 MTs

ISU-130PM is the consistent tank that anyone can get nowadays. I do not see the point in featuring a tank that 99.99% of the player base has never heard of before - lol

This tank crazy. Badger at tier 10 got 4.8k dpm and Isu-130 with prem ammo got 4.6k dpm with every thing maxed out 😀

I've had this tank on NA for a number of years, and I honestly don't remember when it was or how that I got it. I've had a few decent games (5k damage) in it, but never THIS good. I may have to play around with it more often.

I agree on most parts of your idea,though some parts such as "every person should get 4 crew books per day" should be more like 4 crew books per tank in the garage is more suitable and they should re-work the crew training to 1.1× the last skill so the new players can progress and compasate those who worked a lot on their crew which took several thousands of games with gold.I think that is a good system.

I some time ago changed my opinion about the gold ammo. Before only the paying players could afford to fire gold and it was fully pay to win ammo. Originaly it was only sold for gold. But reacently i did realise that the economy has changed. Most players have ability to get atleast one premium tank to make credits. And making credits has been made easyer than ever through premiumtime from the battle pass. Every player can carry gold ammo now and intuition makes it easy to switch ammo to what you need. The heavily armored tanks would be way too powerful nowdays if the gold ammo was nerfed with out buffing the standard ammo. Now the only really pay to win feature is the op premium tanks and the premium food. Most players on this game grinding techtrees cant afford to put 50mil credits to buy food consumable on discount for all the tanks they play. And not having food is a pretty big disadvantage on many tanks that depend on camo and viewrange or gunhandling.

I belive they even rented this tank here in NA/SA

not large amounts of damage, but to just have fun, would be my Amx 12 t. most fun I have ever had in a tank, if I didnt load as much HE I might have even been able to get a Kolobanovs medal.

I've been playing a lot of lower tiers with weak pen lately, and only 4000 credits for a 600 damage shell sounds amazing.

food and auto fire extinguishers are not prem consumables. I run either food or an auto fire extinguisher on all my tanks, am f2p, and make credits every battle unless I am spamming gold vin a tech tree tank.

I have ISU-122S its pretty fun to play.

I also managed to get the tank I play on NA as well but fun tank can say that got one mark in it so far would like to try to get three lol

The SU-130 was sold on NA, but, if I remember correctly, only offered to those that had premium accounts. I have one. It's an OK TD.. the 152 and 152K are better.

While i don't have the ISU-130 in WOT PC I do have it on Blitz, has 1325 HP set up how I have it on blitz and a 9 second reload for 460 standard AP, and 530 Prem AP. But that said, it plays the same.

I had this tank…once. Sold it cause the pen was bad. But the DPM was crazy. Had CC with a buddy of mine and made 1,400 base exp with it. But I’m enjoying the ISU-152k but I’d rebuy the ISU-130 if I can.

you can rebuy tanks you once had even from before they added that feature in garage.. just go to ticket system and restore,, then search for it there... it has all tanks you ever had

We had this on the console, decent alpha - but the poor prem and the state of our matchmaking put people off. Great when on top, but fodder for the inevitable and often bottom game

I would love to buy this tank. I love td but this one is very special (yeah I know there is the SU100Y but the SU is no that good because its big and bulky)

The reward screen at the end has some weird credit economics. He made 319.077 credits before costs, not 415.311. I have seen that in more replays but have not encountered it myself. Is this confined to replays or not?

I got my ISU-130 from a giveaway about a yeah and a half ago I think, back when WoTNA was a different KZread channel and they did WoT's Next every Friday. I happened to win that day. Edit: it was back when the ISU-130 only had 5° of gun traverse

The Red X at the Top of my Screen, that's my Go To anymore.... The Game has just been a LOT Less Fun than it used to be, so I'm generally One and Done.... I don't Drive the Tanks I Like because Teams are So Bad anymore, they all want the Tier 10's but not the Knowledge Needed to DRIVE those 10's, and WG is Selling them Outright anymore.... On Tracks/Top of the Tree's at 2 a Month when it used to be 1 per Quarter, Selling x5 Boosters to Speed them thru to those 10's where we'd be 2 or 3 On Tracks to get thru a Line, Tank Depending of course.... WG needs to start working on the Balance of the Tanks and the Skills of the Players, make them WANT to Learn the Base Mechanics and not Buying thru the Lines.... Went from Hours on End of Playing the Game, to Hours in End at Staring at the Tanks in my Garage going Round and Round.... I don't Buy into the Meta BS, I have Tanks I Like and Tank Ideas I think look Interesting that I get, but Hardly Play anymore....
