Super 6 = Juno Super 8 = Jupiter Super Gemini = CS-80 Not as in clones/replicants, but as in spiritual successors that evolve the ethos of those synths by creating a new family of analogs with their own distinct sound signature. It's great that UDO reinvests back into this platform to continue to support the firmware across all the synths. It will be interesting to see where they go next, because I'd imagine the Super 8 is the final entry into this specific platform for the time being.

Yes I think the Super 8 is the final entry into the Super series. There was a product shaped hole for it! Next, well it’ll be a while but we’ll find new inspiration

Can you create a loop with the freeze function and then have a second “layer” to play on top of ?

Cuckoo, you look a bit like Sean Connery under that beard. Really nice tunes. I dig the delayed arps stacked with sustained chords. Very thought-provoking.

I think of this synth like twice a day. Sadly I'll never own or probably get a chance to play it. Congratulations are getting such a great opportunity.

Sounds great. Wish they'da used the longer sliders from the S6 instead of a single row of shorter Gemini sliders, and not quite enough empty space to be useful, in an area where an ipad would block the controls. But it sounds fantastic, for real. I also think the matching pair of cockrings someone left behind the synth in the bungalow, is peak Berlin, congrats. "For later, when we dance with the toads."

The NI Super 8 vst synth has actually become one of my favorites. Not sure how closely related it is or compares to this, but its pretty awesome nonetheless.

Thanks. I hope to do a tutorial on the Super 8 at some point. The Gemini is practically the same in terms of sound design, just bigger, dedicated encoders for each layer, the ribbon controller and more polyphony. And even a Super 6 tutorial should be a good start.

I’m curious to know exactly how the Super Gemini and the Super 8 differ, aside from the Gemini having dedicated controls for each layer. Great demo, sounds incredibly good.
