Fabulous company. I purchased a used Super 6 recently. The manual was V1.0. I contacted UDO and asked if I could purchase a V4.0 manual and George himself replied. He gave me details of who to contact and they have put one in the post for me FOC. No other synth manufacturer would do that. So impressive.

@@X22GJP Free of charge!! The closest I have come to is Sequential. They were great to deal with but charged me accordingly. Try getting hold of someone to speak to at Roland, Korg, Yamaha etc…..? Let along the top man!! I own synths by Yamaha, Sequential, Moog, Roland and a Korg and although service from them all have been generally good, not a patch on UDO. That’s my qualified experience. @x22glp - Did you get out of bed the wrong side this morning or have you had a different experience?

In the year 2017 I purchased a used Korg Oasys and got answered for all questions, keys to unblock etc etc.

I like that he's thought out what he wants his synth to be. He didn't make the delicate plastic bs everyone complains about that he probably even hates himself. He made a true ride or die synth of his dreams. And now we all get to experience it. I'm excited to get my hands on it down the line

This is quite possibly the BEST sounding synth ever created….

After seeing this covered at Superbooth by Cuckoo, I came away so impressed with the lead designers comfort in explaining and presenting this wonderful instrument. I gravitate towards a bit of nerdiness, so I thoroughly enjoy his explanations of certain elements and design decisions. Jack and crew were engaged throughout, and with good reason. Well done on a magnificent product and demo, and shout out to all the fine folks at Unidentified Dancing Objects.

George’s passion gives me great confidence in their craftsmanship and the heart they put into the design, bad news for my wife, no fancy Xmas gift for her this year 😅

Someone was using his really big brain when putting this together. The attention to detail and utility is simply remarkable. Well done. You set out to make the best synthesizer you know how to make and nailed it. Job done.

Have to say, I haven't heard a synth sound so consistently good and so inspiring in a long time. I could noodle around for hours just getting lost in the ethereal sounds you can create, very impressed. Spendy, but then at this level, what isn't these days? For most people, and I know it's a cliche, but this is probably more synth that anybody needs. I've been holding out on getting a synth, which will be me one-and-only, and this could just have ticked all of the boxes.

UDO are doing a great job of demoing their gear, a lot of other manufacturers could learn a lot from this - send out a passionate and articulate person to do a proper demo of what your synth can do, and you'll sell a truck load. I'm looking at you, Waldorf!

Great-sounding synth, and one of my favourite demonstrators too, George is superb. At first I thought there's no way I'd spend £3600 on a synth - but then I worked out that it's "only" the same number of weeks of my income in 2023 as my Roland D-50 was back in 1987.

To me this is the first dream synth, worthy of being considered as CS80 succesor. Purchased it yesterday, hopefully the wait isn't too long . Other gear will need to go to compensate the price tag.😁

The video's title should be 'Grown Men Drool All Over Synthesizer In Unison'.

Holy smoke!! These sounds!!! All classic sounds sounding super analog...Vangelis, Jarre... it's all there and amazing variety of modern sounds and tricks. Absolutely love it.

Dream synth ❤ I didn’t get the popularity of the Super 6 until I finally sat in front of one: Impeccable build quality, highly musical design, and a sound that provokes goosebumps. This is twice of that and then some, can’t wait to play it.

It`s unbelievable ! I have pretty much every vintage synthesizer in the studio - incl. a stunning CS 60... Aside from the Prophet 5 REV 4, Minimoog Reissue, Oberheim OB-XA, no project has flashed me more than the Super Gemini! Ordered and thanks to U.D.O. for the development of this modern synthesizer!

George is effing brilliant. Such a wonderful set of instruments from UDO. Cannot wait for this one.

GEORGE! Haven't even watched yet, but I already know I will "like" this video.

Gosh even the raw sawtooth is nice. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford (and justify) a $6k synth... today is not that day... The design of the physical controls wherein you just pull everything down (mostly everything) and you have a basic patch is genius! Makes anyone ever trying to zero out an analogue synth knows the pain.

There are only a couple of synths I would rush out to buy, if I had the money. This would be at the top of the list.

I love my Prophet X, but goddamn these sound lovely and more immediate

Listening to my UA/Neumann-system at party level, I can physically feel the sweet sounding lows. ♬Shakin’ all over🎵 @ 23:43 Ring modulation on oscillator level, now that’s Moog Modular stuff 😎 @32:45 So then it’s a heavy metal synth. Could somebody please inform James Hetfield 🤟🏻 I will definitely check this one out.

I would never believe I may want to have a synth. This thing could be used to teach digital audio processing theory in schools. And he is so good on demonstrating capabilities of the instrument that I could not get enough of it and definitely want to see him again for part II of this session. One thing bothering me, is it possible to save and recall all of these settings once you have your own sound? Is there any presets? I also think you should plan a set of programs specially designed for comparing synths. You may define a standard set of basic to complicated sounds, and try to reproduce them in different synths, this way we can see how good they are comparing to each other. Thanks again for your presentations, they are always fun and at the same time very useful.

Yes, there are 256 sound slots, and I imagine like the Super 6 (which has 128) they will come full of presets.

A Korg Mililogue XD can be used to teach underlying theory in schools - doesn't need or warrant anything as deep as the Super Gemini.

I've been waiting for a studio rec of this Lamborghini beast synth since NAMM! And OM f*ckin' G it does not dissapoint. Not one single bit. First note fiercely woke up two active subs, and according to the banging on the walls, my neighbour did not seem to enjoy it. Anyways, I might have to divorce the missus and sell the kids for this one. Even if you don't play synths, you can frame it, hang it on the wall and sell it as abstract art for $ 10.000,-.

Where can we get the shirt?

Question: I just received my super Gemini today. It’s massive yet beautiful. There seems to be a learning curve. I’ve watched so many videos of people effortlessly using this thing. Half the time I press the keys no sounds come out no matter what part of the keyboard I’m on. I know I had an issue with my trigon something with poly chain mode, and I had to reset the settings. I don’t know if I did the same thing, sometimes I press the key and it works. Sometimes it doesn’t sometimes it starts to work and then stops working anyone have any suggestions? Also, it doesn’t seem like the top layer of the keyboard. Any thing that I do affects the sound whether I’m on upper or lower layer I just don’t get it.

Update : apparently first batch there quite a few circuitry issues. I got a dud. Had to send back to retailer who also said they were super frustrated with UDO.
