as a shotgun main, I can say that if they nerf the shotgun's barrage it will become MUCH worse than it already is, seriously, the last thing the shotgun needs is a nerf, shotgun is no longer an op style, since it also takes a ABSURD counter damage and has a very easy to dodge m2, shotgun doesn't need a nerf, it's totally balanced.

Finally, a well deserved dash nerf. I remember some months ago how passive playstyles are tremendously better than the agressive ones. Still is but with a lesser gap between them. And now i wonder if this balance change will put the two playstyles in the same level. (i hope so)

Theres one way to avoid it (somewhat) and its just backdashing at the right time, freedom/ippo or any style that has good backdash can just backdash and escape shotguns barriage.

The end ult edit was genius

Actually stopped using shotgun style due to the fact that im VERY prone to getting countered and switched to Wolf because fun

There is also an unavoidable dodge with Freedom. Use two m1's with whirlwind, then quickly switch to hitman and m1 some more.

Has anyone noticed that when the game tells you to stop farming wins that it resets the beowulf glove mission? If it says stop farming knockdowns it will remove 10 from the mission. Your welcome if you've been wondering why you don't have the gloves yet.

I always see this videos not for using the op style, i don’t like always go with the op things, i see this stuff for try to find something that affects how people plays, i choose styles like counter, bullet or iron because is funny to counter almost every style in the game (except for the spammers)

you actually can dodge shotguns barrage while dodging backwards if you have perfect ping.

That strange because i can remember how i dodge 2 times a barrage and even get a perfect dodge🤔

shotguns m2 is a close range boxer killer just predict your opponent perfectly and you can counter them easly

Wolf also seems to have been affected by this, since its double m2 combo is almost undodgeable because if you get hit (not block) by the first m2, you can't dodge the second one, even if you are spamming the dash button/key.

Try dodging backwards, then hitting a light attack at range. Its been my solution to shotgun barrage for a while. You gotta time right.

Trickster hard counters due to the insane forward dashes lmao. Shotgun right now is really oppressive. Passive Shotgun's who abuse the backdash bug and the barrage on M1 combos/PD can just chip away at your health. If you want to avoid this, I recommend Turtle and Trickster, since the both have different ways to avoid it altogether (Trickster's forward dash can be spammed and avoid every hit, Turtle can just tank on block with little to no downsides) and they also have very good damage output (Trickster is stronger and more aggro, so if you want to shred use it since the ult damage is so high. Turtle's more conservative, since the defense is so strong but the ult is weaker) Another style that is killing right now is Bullet. Seriously, if you hate going against dash spammers, Bullet tends to work well. It's great at countering aggro, and for play aggressive with the passive.

Man with all of these balance changes its hard to pick the right style. Theres always a counter to each and every one of them. Its best to find a style that has less style counters and is neutral for most of other styles and has good enough ult. In my case the best style for me is the turtle style because you dont need to worry about suprise ults when you could just block them

I forgot what style I was using but if you block before the 1st or 2nd shotgun jab, you can spam dodge to the side ( idk the timing ) and get out after a few hits. Don't know if it still works tho

I went a passive wolf who only used m2s and a passive bullet who only used m2s, and then they would backdash and just spam that move. I could barely every hit them because they would backdash but as soon as I dodged I would get hit. I think dodges are a huge problem rn
