If yall have played the PS3 game (Hajime No Ippo : The Fighting!), you can play like the npc's. For example, Miyata (counter) : He dashes away after doing a counter or a jab. Saeki (hands low) : Dash away after doing damage without the opponent blocking, catching their guard off. So on and so forth. Im just giving tips for noobs who just m1, back dash, wait for opponent whiff, m2.

im a champion and i used to struggle a lot with charge users who know what their doing. the stamina drain gimmick just confused me and for some reason charges m1s catch me rlly badly. ever since then i learned to just keep your distance and (unfortunate and annoyingly) play passively. you cant out aggro a style thats meant to be aggro. its made beating charge alot easier for me

Amazing.

Charge has so much better chasing ability now due to backwards movement nerf. The stamina reaping also helps alot for backdashes. Also, Freedom still mediocre. Edit: Cheaky strat using Charge. When Stampede is on cooldown or when you are in Stampede m1 chain, slow down the m1s but keep the chain, this causes your cooldown heal up better. Might be hard to master but it'll make your opponent's ragequit trust

I found it!!!! It's called transformers devastation soundwave

As a freedom main, im kind of sad to see where it is now. I used it, and loved it back when it was weak-ish in terms of damage. Because before , the different styles would be used for their own advantages and disadvantages. now, most just use flicker for high damage output and speed in the hits just to then land an ultimate, and whirlwind literally just for the speed. I know im saying alot, but think about it, When was the last time you had a freedom user go into smash mode?

people just used it as a hitman v2 most of the time :/, prob only smash when pd just for the m2, otherwise its just hitman with basically the best dash

I once fought a guy that has freedom with Bullet, undeniably, i fed him qith what he qualified has "Spam dash and running" i can let you imagine how annoying my m2 were. After the game ended he proceeded to tell me "Im just running" completely forgetting that he has freedom. Beating them is pure enjoyments

Opponents like these I fight on a regular basis 😤

This is 90% of my fights then people gloat like they just outplayed me. Start out infighting, im slapping them senseless then they switch to dash/backdash and m2 spam. Then perfect dodge into ults. It sets a fire in my soul to lose to these people.

I wanted freedom to not have pillow fight damage for so long, and that's made it so fun to play, but dudes like this give actual freedom users a bad name, only using flicker for the damage and whirlwind to run. You can tell he especially is a real smart cookie cuz he never goes into smash mode once and genuinely forgets to turn on flicker in a blockstring sometimes

Tbh as an active freedom user i tend to swirl around my enemy a lot. Not running away tho

this game has a fundemental flaw when it comes to passive play and im not sure if anything below a full rework of the combat could fix it.

For my aggressive style this updates a massive W but for my perfect dodging career this updates a pain in the a**, because sluggers m2 is impossible to dodge now and u cant dodge ults when they get u pined and block break u. So this updates a pain.

With Slugger, the m2s are actually impossible to pd, it's a mechanic ingrained with them. You can normal dodge, though.

If you had a perfect streak the game will think you're farming and thus, reset your progress. It happened to me too. But I'm not sure.

When hitman users complain when I use m2 alot when theyre rushing me. However they legit backwards for 90% of the game making it impossible to actually deal good m1 damage.

Jwordz technique is to study you, so he can be certain to beat you (from what i know)

Honestly i think that backdashing shouldnt have any i-frames because its so annoying when they just backdash all the time OR make it that. Backdashing takes like half of stam bar so they cant rly run and attack you if you chase them after

Unfortunately, a lot of players abuse the backdash. Defo needs a nerf specific to backdashing.

charge is literally one of the best styles in the game at this point. the fact that you can just slow m1 and recharge that stampede ability is stupidly broken, and your logic of how since its an overly aggressive style makes it “weak to counters and perfect dodges”. bro every style is weak to counters and perfect dodges, charge doesn’t take extra counter damage or extra perfect dodge damage? its m1s are basically hands low speed for gods sake its so busted

Try a more shield-pressuring style. I find Smash quite effective against freedom users. As if you catch them with your jabs, you'd gurantee at least one or 2 m2s due to the shitty block. Freedom is one style that you can't really outbox, they'll run circles around you and never hit first. Instead try to be in their faces all the time and make them crack under pressure.

Tips on how to Speedrun beowulf: 1. Have a friend 2. You or your friend use a counter type style ( high base damage style would do too.) 3. You or your friend use a style that suffers extra from counter (or freedom) 4. One person counters the other until 1-0 and then you reset 5. Server hop and repeat the process. (If warning appears, just hop to a different server/rejoin server)

@@Yuri8262 i got 3 beo heres how i got it have a another device or pc then play on the private server then do the task once you knock down your other acc 1-0 reset the account that has been knock down repeat it until 2nd after the 2nd fight leave since the 3rd match will know you farming knockdown repeat it also 1 can just leave the server while the other wait for it to join repeat the process

What I hate more than freedom is the Gloves task reset me 3 times because they just leave when I fight someone and the screen show up "Stop farming for knockdowns" It's annoying to me tbh :[

I used to thing passive ghosts were the worst but now that ive played against freedok i can see that its totally broken it is just too fast and the dashes are insanely broken all they do is wait for u too follow them mess up they attack you ajd run away again ajd catching them is the worst when they start spamming daah whenever a miniscule of health is lost that they wanna recover honestly a better hitman rn only thing that could give it a challenge is prob ghost if i find a freeedom in ranked i just leave im not spending 20 minutes of my day just to chase a freedom
