A good tip for focus is to use it as a counter tool. Since focus mode has much more increased counter damage, using focus during the startup of enemies attacks will make them extremely vulnerable to counters since it stops their punch.

It doesnt thats just a rollback issue because the opponent hit you on their screen. If you perfect dodge a little earlier you can stay in mode. Tho in all honesty it ending mode can sometimes be good so you can land an m2 and take away all the regenable health you gave them with Focus m1s.

A couple of things about chronos. Focus can cancel a pd. If there's two people using chronos focus can cancel out another persons focus. (I watched it happen on someones discord stream in the trade server's vc and it was insane to watch)

That ultimate is so sick.

Something you didn’t mention is that the focus ability is also a literal parry to your enemies’ m1s and m2s (I have yet to prove it on ults) so instead of going focus and then attacking, which could make you predictable, you can wait for them to attack literally in any way to parry and secure focus’ value.

0-50 ping people are finna perfect dodge every punch I land💀

I recommend using the focus when the opponent is attacking with heavy so u can get counter dmg

One thing about Chronos is that yes you do have faster M1's in Focus mode but they deal less block damage than in normal mode.

Since jwordz is new to the style ill give some tips: If your opponent plays passive and or doesnt approach, you can bring them closer by emoting making them more likely to mess up and get hit. Focus only slows down the opponent for a few second WHILE NEAR them at the start of the ability, it only makes you faster and stronger at the end. Chronos for being a counter style doesnt have an amazing m1 counter but its m2 counter deals BIG damage If your opponent runs while you are using focus, you can emote to keep it/make it last even longer.

hmmm tip for chronos: use emote when your opponent is taunting you far away (either emote or a + d spam)

This style is so close to being good. Like if it got 1 or 2 buffs it would be awesome

Jwordz it has a infinite combo in focus if u activate it in the focus state it will charge back up

I used to main Bullet so, my m2 counters are really on point (people REALLY like to dash and attack immediately afterwards, it's pretty much a free counter) And i just got this style a few Hours ago and m2 counter builds focus really quickly and Chronos also has bonus counter damage Consider me a huge menace

Actually you can charge it up from just damage alone. It gives very little bar but because he hits so fast it’s not actually too bad. Most of the meter gain is from counters and pds and sometimes emoting if the opponent is stupid

I saw one player with Michael Jackson skin, catch somebody on his ultimate. That looked so legendary.

Tip for controller players: Use right trigger to taunt intstead of A/X. Using A/X will make you dodge forward before taunting (though trigger won't allow you to taunt while meter is full)

I just fought a chronos player just now, he was bad but I could tell the style is good af. Prolly the best dash rn, if he was fully defensive not even a pro hitman player can catch him after his dashes. Countering and perfect dodging is hard to do against good players so based off that one fight I had chronos players should be fully defensive and spam emotes until they got their focus and then only go in then

Im a console player but when using chronos, I don't emote at all because I don't find it useful to fill up my bar since people like to stay close to you so I just rely on countering and perfect dodging which helps me better and it fills up the meter quicker than emoting anyways so

0:43 its actually really easy, just m1 > taunt > m1 > taunt > m1 > taunt, only if you got the balls for that speed and timing

I think it’s fairly balanced, bad ult in base form, mediocre m1s though they are fast. Good dashes. It’s a more extreme version of hands low with a higher reward. Time stop though can shred the opponents health. The chip damage is insane however to solidify the damage you need PD and m2 which could be hard depending on how skilled your opponent is and not get hit

this is definitely what happens to gregor the moment dante got that new ability in canto 6

Bruh when I first fought a chronos style user with hands low it was one of the most action packed fast paced fights I ever fought it was awesome, it start off by me taking the lead, when they ever used TS I caught them with a early m1, but at the end I got decimated by there TS ability and I lost(I almost won it was close)

I think this is just hands low but better I also feel like no one can use this style but people who are skilled

I got tips for chrono While they are far or that the beginning of the match emote as much as possible Use feint often Try to perfect dodge every heavy you see Play like you are using hitman if you are not good at perfect dodging When you are in focus spam punch like you are dio and save some energy so you can dash back to recover Land heavy as much as possible so you can get rid of their recover Hope that helps

Chronos m1s is always at the left, because of that you can trick opponents into thinking you gonna use feints by using it often, technically mind manipulation.

i can already see chronos mains spamming toxic emotes from a mile away 💀

This style reminds me of prince naseem because it taunts so much xD

Moral of the style: Chronos is pretty much a high risk high reward style

How to counter this style: Be aggressive while at the same time be cautious so the user doesnt land a counter on you, use styles like charge, ippo, kimura, or hawk for it, and dont always fall for the emotes as they can land a counter or PD you when they get the chance, and always try to pressure the user as much as possible so they dont get their bar up

i love getting flashbacks to "ts spammer sptw no skill" when this style released
