ADVANCED NERD TIP: To make perfect dodging way easier, change your highlight color for what color arena youre playing on. RED ARENA: Green outline (if you want it to really "pop" then lime green BLUE ARENA: Neon Orange outline (lime green works too) these colors are opposites on the color wheel meaning they perfectly contrast one another. (think red berries and green leaves on a plant) i NEVER could perfect dodge, but since changing my outline color i actually dodge quite often! (i only use lime green even on blue arena) i promise you will see this difference immediatley, when someone M2's the color sticks out like a sore thumb.

I main Corkscrew, The best way to play it is you have to focus on punishing your opponent dodge. Because you have quick regen and high dmg m2, you can try to feint over and over again and getting just a few m2 is already worth it. Since Hitman has short length dodge; Feint is really strong against it and it is the reason why he could completely destroy Hitman. If your opponent stop trying to dodge you, Corkscrew still has very good punch and punish. its m1 is pretty long and easy to start a combo and m2 shred guard really well. So you can just force your opponent to be aggressive to get free punish or stop them from using block. Many people think Corkscrew sucks because they are too focused on getting m2 from combo, which is stupid since Corkscrew m2 is slow and doesn't alternate, you aren't gonna get a cheap delayed m2 hit from high lvs. What you are supposed to do with it is shreding block. I once forced Hawk main to stop dodging because I keep doing feint and shove m2 in his face, then he was salty as hell because he is a skill issue passive player who doesn't know how to do offense lmao. This is also from Rank, people who main legendary are so dogwater.

One of the nastiest things a corkscrew user can do is use a 1-2 combo(jab-heavy)when a player least expects it. As long as you aren’t predictable when using it, nobody is really be able to dodge your heavy. I usually use it once or twice in a row at times, but theres been times doing it 3 times in a row has worked out. The combo does very high guard damage very quickly for putting pressure in general, but especially effective on styles with a weak guard(as part of their style or just during a fight)Other times the players just straight up malfunction and they are blocking and try to dodge the heavy but just fail and get hit alsoo yayyy game is down for dumb reasona

For me it was slower. For some reason back then I felt everything much slower. Kind of as if I was in an anime. I would think a full sentence on my mind but irl it had just passed 1 second.

Moment I got Corkscrew, I've stuck with it. I'm surprised I don't see it used more. I usually switch between being aggressive and passive, so this style is really good for that.

I main hands low cuz it’s just a good and fast style that is almost impossible to get caught in.(you also earned a new sub(:)

I've been observing Corkscrew as a fighting style for a while, even 7 months later after this video it is still VERY GOOD. Underrated and underestimated by a lot of players, it is hands down the best rare fighting style. Because of your insane regeneration and damage, try and restrict the other player's healing. Punish their weaving and pressure their block when possible. Overwhelming your enemy will lead to more faulty hits from their end, leading to easier perfect dodges for you to land your ultimate.

Try slugger next i think slugger got a big nerf slugger has a really slow m1 plus the nerf of it's m2 and the adjustments in dashing it got useless in rank based on my experience it's really difficult to deal with hit n run players plus if I'd make a mistake throwing a punch they can easily caught me because of the update

If your problem is hit and run players, it is PURELY your fault. Slugger has amazing offense and of course, the game isn't going to let you turtle with an Aggro style. Staying passive with Slugger or Hitman isn't great because your opponent knows 100% you can't dash in, thanks to your weak ass dash, and not to mention how bad your style defense already is. With one less option you can do, They are going to have easy time to approach you and delete a huge chunk of your block. Basically, learn offense.

One of the best styles (since the game release) is counter it had less M1 damage but does 1.5x of M2 damage when you do a counter, same applies to M1 with counter and the style demolishes hitman and hands low players (demolishes pretty much every styles if u know how to perfect dash) the style is still in top 5 best styles for 5 updates straight

The hell are you on, the style is complete dogshit ever since the m1 whiff nerf, it’s also one of the only styles that has fixed directions for its attacks, making it one of the easiest to pd in the whole game. Also against a passive opponent you’re literally using basic with less damage and more predictable, counter is actually one of the worst styles currently in the game

@@winterace2.051 tf are you on I’m fighting at 23k ranked using counter myself most of the time, people at that rank just don’t attack first so counters barely exist that’s just what it is. Also I have faced good counter players and have always beaten them no matter the style I had because if you’re losing you can just stop being aggressive and counter basically becomes long guard but with less range

Do you know how annoying it gets trying to be at least 9th in the world, half the matches people leave and the other half you just get 7rt from a win, I only lost 3 times to hackers and have around 90 wins(basically never lost to legit players) but still Im 300+ RT from top 1
