This Session Is Going To Be Different (Explicit) - feat. Michael Hyatt - 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend''

Комедия

GET THE SONG: lnk.to/cxg3
This Session Is Going To Be Different
Starring Michael Hyatt
Featuring Rachel Bloom
Written by Rachel Bloom, Adam Schlesinger, Jack Dolgen
DR. AKOPIAN
This session
Is gonna be different
It's gonna be so different
I know
This patient
Won't be indifferent
This time around
She'll want to grow
I've been burned
So many times
By the girl who's committed
So many burn crimes
Yet I never
Lost hope or endurance
Thank God I don't accept
Health insurance
I charge 250 dollars an hour now.
This session
Is gonna be useful
If she's truthful
About how she feels
So I'll give it my all
With my requisite therapy shawl
Kiss my fancy degrees on the wall
For good luck
That it's gonna be different
I can help her be different
Sweet Jesus, it has to be different
'Cause if it's not
I fucking quit!

It's not every show where when you have somebody going to therapy, you actually see how the therapy affects the therapist. Which makes sense from a storytelling aspect because therapy in stories is usually focused on providing the audience the inner thoughts feelings of a charecter, and also emotional labor is a therapists literal job, but it's nice that she is actually a charecter in CEG

  • @julierose2398

I actually interpreted this as another flavour of “You Stupid Bitch”. Notice that this is one of Rebecca’s mind songs, not something Dr A is actually saying. I’ve seen videos by therapists who are much more sympathetic to clients who mess up.
