Часы из России с любовью.
Got myself a Raketa Amphibia recently, the build quality and attention to detail are impressive. So far it’s super punctual as well - only gains like 2 secs a day!
I’m absolutely in love with RAKETA watches! Proud owner of 2 limited editions: SPACE LAUNCHER and COPERNICUS. I also am waiting for my SONAR to arrive, hopefully very soon! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, RAKETA!!
Zero o'clock? Watch is beautiful 😍
My very first mechanical watch i got (about 15 years ago) was old soviet era Raketa perpetual calendar with brass case and red dial. I immediately fell in love with it. I didn't get it serviced until last summer and now it's like a new. Now i have also old soviet era 24 hour "Antarktida"-model designed for polar explorers. Also a fantastic and lovely watch. Recent purchase was a Raketa "Star wars", octagonal soviet era watch with very personal look. It uses the same caliber as perpetual calendar, 2628. This movement is known as one of the most reliable movements ever and i know it serves long and keeps accurate time. In my opinion, Raketa is highly underrated brand. They make outstanding watches, old soviet ones and newer automatic ones. I only have 3 old ones but i know already that collecting them will not stop there

The Raketa has very interesting and rare models. in the secondary market they cost up to $ 20,000
One of the best brands and is very well priced
'Raketa' is my favorite watch brand. I will definitely buy when I can afford. 💚💚💚
Absolutely beautiful watches...
I absolutely love their vintage Copernic. Got a NOS from 1992 a year ago. Unfortunately it stops when it gets close to electromagnetic fields loke speakers of a laptop. However, the size is just right as a dress watch. So, I wear it nearly every day for going to the office or visit business partners. It is a good conversation starter if someone is into watches. Hope to see less chunky, more refined models coming from Raketa again.

That Counter code (counter clockwise) watch is definitely the winner from today, even though all of them looks great. A big jump from the 80s and 90s watches. Thanks Marko for bring these cool and new watches to the spot light 😎

Wieder mal ein super Video, durch dich bin ich dazu gekommen Uhren zu sammeln und es macht unglaublich viel Spaß… habe mir auch gerade eine Poljot gekauft mit Weckerfunktion. Auch eine schöne Uhr.

Very interesting watches. Your channel is so well produced and professional. Thanks.
Very interesting pieces ! I love the the counterclockwise one , defitely a conversation starter I also love the dome glass style , good review thank you !
These are all beyond cool! My only gripe is that any mechanical watch costing more than £1000 should feature a hacking function. For that matter, precise time isn't what matters here. Besides, Panerai doesn't give you hacking, and they cost a hell of a lot more. I love the packaging, especially the photos of the people who work in the factory. Thanks for this!
@SwissWatchGang
2 жыл бұрын
Well it's more common than you think so I don't mind the lack of hacking here although it would be a cherry on top for sure. Price-wise it's a great package and I too love the pictures, I was smiling when I saw them for the first time. 😊
Thanks Marko for introducing others watch markers to us. Great content as usual.

No answer to my question !!! Finally I have bought an early Raketa and will see in Russia next year for that one i'm looking for .
I got one from the late 1970s or thereabouts. It‘s the sturdiest watch I‘ve ever owned and it makes one hell of a daily beater. When I‘m back home I absolutely have to make sure it gets some wrist-time on a more regular basis. Thanks for having me reminded about that.

I've seen pictures of the Avant-garde model and didn't like its looks, but after seeing it in your video, it looks a lot more attractive. The Leopard 24 looks great too but I think it would be too big for my thin wrists. Thanks for the great review, it's hard to find english reviews of a lot of these other Russian watch brands.

I thought that Yuri Gagarin wore a Sturmanskie? Good video, cool watches. I like that personal touch. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
I have a 24 hours world timer dial Raketa from the 1970s. It's my most unusual watch not because half of the cities around the circle are Soviet cities, but because the hour markings are odd numbers (...19-21-23...) hours instead of the usual even numbers (...18-20-22...) enumeration.

Fantastic video and great inside. I didn’t understand before why the curiosity watch moves counter clockwise. Makes sense now! Regarding history of the brand: I believe Gagarin wore a Sturmanskie watch, not a Raketa. Am I wrong?
@borissarmatov4391
Жыл бұрын
i think he had both. he got Sturmanskie when he graduated from flight school - that was VVS standard issue watch for the time. and he flew them to space. that i know for sure. after that i think he got Pobeda as a reward and the factory was so excited that they even changed their brand to Racketa.
Very cool

Historically the Swiss ran hundreds of highly specialized small factories focusing on one specific component. Outsourcing is in their blood until they discovered that "in house" is good for marketing. The soviet era factories like Raketa and Vostok on the other hand are fully integrated. Those guys start from bare metal and ship a fully finished watch.
Nice to see that they've gone to a ball-bearing rotor.
Does the crown pull out? Or is it a screwdown crown?
