Thank you Senator, it is apparent to even a child that none of these commanding officers and elected or appointed officials have any intention of detailing the circumstances around any government decisions. Isn’t it insulting, to say the least, to have these “educated and word smithed”, replies to the Committee? Are politicians so used to lies, that they have no impact on the Committees Rules and Requirements and that incomplete testimony is a acceptable thing?

Had a LT. Col. spoke up, then was shut up and Isolated for month until he promises to stay quiet. That what has become our country is cover up after cover up. If this happen to Presidential Trump, the news media would been all over this and getting more answer to questions why it happens. I'm not so sure. When testifying in this way, the Senators are asking for a lot of promises. Sometimes, bureaucracies are ugly things and technicalities get in the way. I actually thought the General did a good job. He didn't make promises he wasn't certain he could keep but did affirm his support for the general principle of transparency of cooperation with Congressional oversight.

LTG Kurilla served in and was the Commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Commanding General of the 82nd Airborne has 2 purple hearts from being shot in combat and has deployed in combat to Panama, Desert Storm, Afghanistan (was entire spec ops task force commander), Iraq. Resign if you don't agree but they don't because they are in a mission to betray the president. I think he's indirectly trying to ask if the candidate will, or will not abide by the tenets of the Constitution.

Anyway, Republicans won't tell how they had a year to get people Out of Afghanistan after Trump made deal with Taliban Leader to pull out by May 2021. They had a year but did Nothing but pulled all but 2500 of our Soldiers out! Now they blame Pres Biden & Dems for cleaning up their mess! Trump & Republicans left everybody behind! Biden had a choice to pull as many people out as possible or send troops back in starting a War all over again! It's easy for us to say let's change it but Tailban wanted us out & Uphold the agreement Trump made with them. They did agree to give Biden till end of August but they were calling the shots at that time, not the US. Why didn't Trump remove the people during that year along with withdrawing our Troops? Trump pulled 30,000 troops out after he made the Deal. Don't you think blame you agree he could've gotten them out during the same time? The president was Joe Biden he did not have to abide by the agreement to pull out on a certain date. That's because Trump also told him if they started advancing on the capital or doing military acts that we would not pull out. Trump also agreed to keep air cover over the area and to help The Afghani army with air cover which was not kept up by Joe Biden. If Joe Biden would simply have hit the forces when the Afghan army called for help they would have started to win some of those battles. To blame Trump for what Biden did shows that you're an anti-trumper and can't think for yourself and believe the propaganda you've been fed. There's a lot of things Joe Biden could have done differently he didn't even tell our allies over there that we were pulling out. What is frustrating is that committees can be told "No, you cant have that information". D&R's on committees should have access immediately to any documents they request, for any reason. That is why we have oversight. What good is oversight if you don't have all the information today, not next week?

This is a problem. Who does the military answer to ? Since when does the military tell our civilian leadership what they are or are not entitled to ? If you don't exercise your authority they will continue to stonewall. If anyone under a generals command refused to give up documents they new they had they would not be give any other time than immediately to surrender the docs before they would be slapped with an article 15 thrown in the brig and kicked out of the military with less then honorable or dishonorably discharged.
