Hello fellow Sims! This is a decent RTS game, but it is lacking a few Basic RTS features that make it harder top play than it should be. It has loads of content and is Realistic in the sense that 1 bullet can kill and no unit is impervious. So tactics are key. I really enjoyed playing and would enjoy even more IF the devs implemented the three missing features I highlighted. Let me know your thoughts Below:

😆 I have it. And will be exploring it as and when I fins time.

Great video mate and I hope they make the changes soon as I not picked it up yet as I feel it not right time yet.

@@SimUKReviews We good thank and I hope your family good too? I will wait and see how the game deals with things you have rised in the video and hope to get an update in the future. I had fun playing coop when i played the beta and I a big company of heros fan too.

@SimUKReviews Sorry, but you're giving out false information. You can group units with the Shift key and a number. Just use Shift instead of Ctrl. Commands can also be chained together with the Shift key.

​@@SimUKReviews At this point, a quick note about a function of the game that many players are not aware of. In single player mode, the game can be paused using the pause button on the keyboard. During the pause, you can give the individual units commands, which will then be carried out once the pause is over.

I'm sorry but this can't hold anything to Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront That has to be the most realistic RTS out there. Most of these things u were so wowed by have been in that game for ages ... Why u have not tried it is beyond me...maybe u got the key for MOW 2 The ai needs improving but it's a much better game in general, this is much more arcade like it even has heath bars for vehicles yes you can turn them off but they are still there even if you can't see them. Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront vehicles have no such thing ...u get a king tiger Infront of u , your shells will just bounce off untill u get around it or find a better anti tank gun. To call this game realistic is an understatement... But there's your opinion that I would strongly suggest you play Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront Also it has the steam mods But good review video

As I said. I am not comparing the game to another game that I haven't played...why would I? Irrespective of how good GOH is does detract from how good this is? Assetto Corsa Competizione is a better game than this, but this is still a great game (except for the three major issues mentioned).

@@SimUKReviews even bad games can be enjoyable. For me I prefer realism and more simulation. The moment you start putting health bars on vehicles that's a red flag for me. I definitely think the first one is better than the second one in terms of realism this second take more of a step towards coh3 and an arcade like rts . It definitely wants more novice players then veteran players of the series. Even GOH has problems but for realism it's the best one out there . In fact it seems mow2 tried to take a lot out of GOH I just disagree when you say it's a realistic game for modern day terms , there is a lot of old school rts games for world war 2 that are still better then this. Even in coh 2 if u killed the driver the the vehicle would move for a while.. I'm just saying most of these points should be in the game in any RTS game..... To call it almost perfect is it very much an understatement but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You've got to remember I will always compare any RTS game in world war II 2 GOH Like yours just a opinion

Of course, i am not disagreeing with your opinion, as I haven't played GOH I don't have a comparison at this time, however it is worth mentioning that GOH are using the core game built by these guys originally....? Realism elements like fuel, ammo & lethal ballistics make this realistic unlike COH for example.

@@SimUKReviews that is correct they are using the core game made by them . But the difference in gameplay in a simulation and realistic manner is amazingly different that's all. This new Man of war game was supposed to be called men of war 2 arena and it was supposed to be an online free to play Arcade RTS game . After public outcry they changed a few things but it's pretty much still the same game they wanted . I'm sure it's fun and it's ok but as I said hold a candle 🕯️ to GOH and with mods in GOH u can add so much . Just to call it near perfect for me ...yeah lol but enough lol 😆 Ai is a problem but AI is always hard to code .

I must admit, it does have an Always Online FTP feel about it. Irrespective for this review I wasn't comparing it to anything other than COH (& I think you will agree it is more realistic than that?). At the end of the day I enjoyed playing this game and even if GOH is miles better (and I am sure it is) this is still a very enjoyable & realistic RTS...(except for the 3 major issues I mentioned). & I will try out GOH soon too :-)
