For the time that you are on Earth, would you say the pursuit of ensuring that I or any of my future generations don’t ever have to worry about money is not a worthwhile endeavour? If so, then why would you say so? Money is an enabler, money is required, and money objectively makes life easier. Putti bc on your own mask first and keeping it firmly there (if you ask where is the limit to it), I feel, is an extremely worthwhile pursuit. Also, he created probably hundreds of livelihoods using his activities. The most impact is not always created thinking through the heart

Good luck to him I knew this was a winner when I first see this aired I couldnt believe some of the dragons couldnt see what I could easyily see.
For everyone asking why they never see these things about, the toy was released in 2009 so you might have just missed it for whatever reason... They're not being sold now
Oh Duncan, I wonder how many kids have fathers or even mothers who read to them at night. I noticed how he checked his watch early on in the pitch, rude, oh and then yawning. He’s had his had and now he’s jealous of this much younger entrepreneur.
What a kick in the teeth for Duncan
Duncan was ignorant from the beginning, you could say that about any toy or game that kids play themselves, doesn't mean the parent can't be with them at the same time
One dragon said it's the father's job to read bed time stories but theirs a lot of kids and the father's aren't around
@SaraMKay
3 ай бұрын
That’s absolutely true and if we believe the statistics and predictions, this actual fact’s not going to change anytime soon and rather the numbers are increasing. Less children will be born but of these few, most will grow up without the father. I had a dad but my bedtime stories were read by my grandmother. If it wasn’t for her, I would have died a long time ago, or maybe if I lived, would be in prison. I’m 100% certain bedtime stories from a book are immensely important for a child’s development, regardless who reads or tells it. A parent or relative is a luxury I’m afraid today’s kids do not have that much anymore. *there’s *fathers, btw

A very smart young man, I'm just surprised I've never heard of this. Mind you at the time of this proposal it was only an idea so maybe morphed into something else.
Duncan so negative about, I even saw him yawning at one point and Richard very pessimistic. I am so glad he negotiated down a little and I was thinking if you get 40% take it. So glad to hear this young man has made such a success of his business. I do love hearing about the success stories. He is a rich man now and that was quick from 6 months starting to make it to ending up in partnership with these 2 dragons. Nice!
I'm so glad it worked out. I want to congratulate the investors and the entrepreneur

11m seems like an unreliable claim, internet says he told the press he was going to turn over 11m in a year but the reality is his companies house filings show that they’ve got 60k in the bank now, and even in the years when Jones and Theo were shareholders the company never made more than 150k in a year. I seem to recall these being in somewhere like B&M one Christmas reduced to something like £20 and it seemed like really old tech even back then
