Flo, who as usual is a genius, is right. This really works. I’ve been doing it for years too. One would think the pasta would never cook properly this way, but it does. I know many people will cringe to see pasta cooked this way, and there is no more a traditionalist than I, but in the end what you get is a delicious meal. What more could one want?

I made it too and I love it. I think it’s because the pasta is cooked in the sauce and soaks it up. So flavorful!

I make this in my instant pot frequently. It’s my go to. Thank you

Thanks for the recipe! Had my iPad perched on top of the rice cooker and so I can watch and follow your directions. I added extra three links of hot Italian sausage (casing removed) with the pound of regular Italian sausage. Also, I added about a cup of red wine with the liquids. It was delish and best of all it was simple to make. I remember playing pickup sticks!

Pasta in the pressure cooker comes out so much better than stove cooking. 4 minutes on manual seems to be the magic number for a lot of things. I freeze all kinds of stuff. I put a serving of cooked rice in a plastic bag flat like your sausage. Now I can make fried rice in under 10 minutes. Flat Freezing also saves space.

Easy, fun and yummy. Followed your directions to the letter. My spaghetti came out perfect with only one exception. I like my spaghetti a little wetter. So I mixed in another cup and a a half hot water. Thank you!

I use a 12" or bigger frying pan to boil pasta. It cooks quicker, tastes better because I don't rinse it, I drain it and I save water. I have been cooking pasta like this for 10 years and it always comes out firm and delicious. Thank you for this dish.

I made this last nite - full recipe. I live alone!!!! So I have half of it in the freezer. Great method! It turned out really well. Thank you, Flo.

If you use boiling (or at least hot) water to rinse out the jar, it will do a better job of getting everything out of the jar and will shorten the time it takes to heat your instant pot to pressure. Love your recipes and presentation looking forward to the next one
