This came out in 2014. It's a Shady Records mixtape with Bomb ass songs. I highly recommend "Right For Me", "Psychopath Killer", "Guts over Fear", "Detroit vs. Everybody", "Fine Line" and "Die Alone"

Highland Park is an enclave surrounded by Detroit. The police & fire department were combined into a singular public safety department to cut costs. Basically cutting staff to the point it was hard to get a timely response to a call.

Apparently Ronda Rousey heard those lines and said that she enjoyed them. She compared it to her doing an armbar on someone it's gonna hurt but you have to admire the skill

The Wired Frog is place here in Michigan...coffee house during the day and night club at night! Highland Park fire fighters for 8 years! Worked out of an old warehouse with subpar equipment and little to no help!!! The area was constantly plagued by someone...or someones...that liked to set houses/buildings on fire! It was almost impossible for them to put them out!

The Wired Frog was an old cafe in detroit where people would come to do open mics and poetry readings back in the 80s and 90s. My parents used to go there back in the day, and that's why eminem made the reference in the song.

The "Shop" was the shortened name for "The hip hop shop. Again, another local detroiter reference. It's where eminem used to do his first raps in front of people to see their reactions. The put it out yourself like Highland park, reference is also just another detroiter thing bc in one of the neighboring cities known as highland park, they don't have an actual fire department. Or at least they didn't have one for a while.
