I learned this piece, but speeding it up is the real challenge. I started posting the parts that I think are harder, at least for me because they are my favorite parts-it seems like everyone has their favorite variations of this piece. 😊
I think I can play the first 8 notes. My Yamaha Grand makes me sound fantastic!! Then I slink away knowing those 8 notes are all I can manage. But for those 10 seconds I’m the best bloody pianist in Maryborough a country town in Australia. I might not have the talent but I have the piano! Thank you & from me to you I’m bowing as if I’m in a Concert Hall. Wow. Imagination. Can’t beat it.

La campanella is incredibly hard to play lol, despite is only around 4 minutes long when Evegny Kissin finished playing it he was sweating profusely as if he just finished running a marathon, such a crazy piece to play on piano.
