This Modern Tiny House Is An Off-The-Grid Dream
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this weeks episode we meet Jason and Summer who live in an absolutely stunning, modern, off-the-grid tiny house on wheels. This home is packed full of clever design features, wonderful art, and an impressive solar system which keeps their home powered.
The couple have recently returned to New Zealand after living in London. Seeking to create a beautiful space of their own, while reducing their environmental impact and maximising their lifestyle, they decided an off-grid tiny home was their ideal solution.
This tiny house has been incredibly well thought out and designed to perfectly meet the couples needs. Both Jason and Summer often work from home and this tiny house boasts an impressive office, in addition to all the other tiny house essentials!
If you're inspired to get off-the-grid, lower your living cost and live a life which allows you to focus on your passions, this is a story you won't want to miss!
Enjoy the full video tour of this spectacular modern tiny house!

Hi Bryce & Rasa. I've been watching you guys pretty much from day dot. Not every episode, but enough to love the channel. My partner and I built a tiny home out of a 6 tonne pantech truck. Just out of curiosity, my only gripe and it's not even really a gripe. But.... is there anyway you guys could feature more of the Tech (battery chemistry and capacity, solar panel array total watts, etc.) I'm not suggesting it to necessarily be in the video itself. But rather if the owners were happy to share the info, maybe in the video description. We've lived completely off grid in the Queensland bush of Australia for 6 months and I think as much as the aesthetics of everyone's tiny home is awesome. The technical side is equally if not more so (for full time occupation). I think those interested in the movement, might enjoy that extra piece of the puzzle. Other than that, love the channel. Many thanks.

I secretly like to imagine that Bryce keeps a record of when he says 'This is lovely' on entering a tiny house, and this episode he was like, "You know what, it's been five episodes, I think it's safe to break it out again." What a legend.

Cute tuxie at 10:24. Impressed that they managed to shoot the feline using the catwalk, knowing how uncooperative cats are, let alone wild ones.
they're definitely art creatives esp, Summer because acknowledging the fact that it wasnt an original idea (or even come off like they naturally thought of it, nevermind other tiny house owners) shows how important they dont grab the credit for these ideas. definitely a sign of respect with other creatives.

Technically subtropical. Although this month it pretty much is tropical. 30Celsius+, loud Cicadas etc. Can be unpleasantly humid or dangerously dry also sometimes. 6 Helis with monsoon buckets to put last Bush fire out near me. In drought right now. Re 'tropicality' it is true that with global warming, bananas are now frequently grown in parts of the upper North Island. NZ grown are probably by far the best tasting of all bananas in my opinion. Compact but tasty. Foraging for wild berries good right now. The Aussie Rosellas seem to leave blackberries alone at least. As do possums mostly. Large wasp nests and mozzies a prob. As is the very thick imported Kenyan kikuyu grass that needs constant weedwhacking or mowing. Controlling that is a constant pain. Viciously flesh cutting, very flammable Pampas grass takes over too.

I would recommend they stay put on that land because it is then a family compound and everyone can help each other out while still having their privacy. Too many families are spread too far apart for mutual support within easy reach.

Hello Louise
People keep talking about being "LUCKY" when speaking of their tiny house locations on their parent's 20-acre farm, but it's really PRIVILEGE. I just wish someone would say that. It isn't luck, just own it. Anyways, I LOVE this tiny house and I have the privilege of being able to build one on my parent's land. I sent them this, and I can't wait to get started!

Love that double-compartment drawer in the bathroom 😍😍
Another wonderfully conceived and executed home. The use of the landing that allows you to stand in the loft is a very attractive design idea as is the Office Space with the footwell.
Watching this before I go to sleep and the ending music is like a lullaby sending me off to sleep and to dream about tiny houses in grassy lands
So many tinys are so minimal that art is not desirable, but for me their art and the stories they bring are so much a part of life, I can't imagine home without them, awesome couple, awesome tiny...AND that puppy, love me some Brussel's Griffin...love it...!

You guys have a beautiful home..... congratulations...!!!
They utilized ALL my favorite tiny house tricks: The folded window backsplash with deck bar, The sunken foot rest in office, The sunken stand-up strip in bedroom, Composting toilet w a view, Massive storage w super clever drawers in bathroom, Kitty gym that takes up zero floorspace, Water recycling, Edible garden, OUTDOOR shower, And HIGH countertops, yes!! Countertop height was standardized many years ago when people on average were much shorter. It would make sense to raise the standard a couple inches. My countertops tops are 38" high (2"above standard. I wish I'd been braver when I designed them. 40" or more would have been even better. . . . and that guy's voice. It might be too distracting to live with😉, but I suppose she's usd to it by now. Really well done all around!
