I do believe I was banned from your server but I have said in a lot of places it seems to be a kei car revolution, there’s a couple kei vans cooking and ANOTHER kei truck coming from docroswagge soon, also a modder I speak to sometimes is hinting at a Suzuki cappuccino. Finally gonna be able to use the yellow Japan plates more :)

I daily a kei truck, does highways speeds no issue. Parks anywhere, fits down sidewalks, hauls my quad no problem either. Thing is a blast. Also the box is the same size as my 2017 ram 1500. 😂😂

This is needed in the base game

Kei cars and trucks are just really cool vehicles, hope to see more kei vehicle mods crop up

I think it's intended as a successor not a predecessor to the Pidgeon. It looks more 80s-90s while the Pidgeon is more 70s.

In reality, it's quite unrelated. The original of this is a Japanese truck, whereas the original of the Pigeon is British.

With the front wheel position, your feet are up in the air with your knees in your chest and shins in the steering wheel! Kei trucks like this usually have the front wheels further back (under where you sit) and your feet go in front of the wheels to give them space.

Also, with the car keeping its shape, I mean there's not much you could do with a crumple zone here, but I knew a guy who was in an accident in an old truck from the 70s or 80s versus a late 90s car. He was sitting by the side of the road and got rear-ended by an elderly couple doing about 70kph in a basic sedan. They had a crumple zone and they got out of the car completely unscathed, but the guy in the truck didn't remember much before an EMT got in the car next to him and started asking him questions to check how bad his concussion was. It was a pretty big truck, but the frame was so rigid that the impact transferred straight to his body. Also the truck was still written off because the frame cracked right in the middle. The rigidity didn't even help the vehicle survive. Point being, a vehicle holding its shape in an accident isn't that great of a sign.

As a kei truck i can confirm that i need a drift version

If I remember Mythbusters correctly, they determined that having the tailgate up gives you better gas mileage than having it down. The wind will hit the tailgate and circle back around, creating an air bubble for the rest of the air to flow right over it. With it down, the wind will hit the bottom of the bed and create more drag.

The only tiny truck I can think of that opens from the front is the itty-bitty Goliath Atlas from early 1930's Germany. It's awkward and adorable and I desperately want one.

Hey Neil, as far as I can tell you could drive this one in real life: looks to be a clone of the real life Piaggio Porter (also known as the Daihatsu Hijet), which is fitting, considering that the Pigeon is a clone of the Piaggio Ape (with "ape" meaning "bee", not "monkey").

Subaru Sambar and Honda Acty are very similar to this, including the bed sidewalls being able to be dropped.

Kei trucks irl have like 6 foot beds, quite a bit bigger than average!

I know that Grind Hard Plumbing Co, has a Kei Truck though... their's isn't uh... the average Kei truck either... (it has a 6x6 frame under it, i forget what the 6x6 originally was though before the Kei truck body was put atop it.)

Specifically, that is 85 MPH on Texas State Highway 130, a toll road from Austin to Seguin. Max speeds on any other highway in Texas I am aware of is 75 MPH.

Hmm Is the Shima built on the Pigeon chassis? There are some fundamental design issues that look like they were the result of forcing a cab-over Kei body on a Pigeon chassis.

It's called the k truck in Japan there are small trucks generally made by Isuzu Toyota Hyundai and they pretty much all look basically about the same they fall under a segment in Japan called k trucks y'alls have k cars and the pigeon is actually a Renault alliance The vehicle you're showing now as I said it's a k truck Isuzu Daihatsu and a few other companies and they almost look all the same they have a designation of k trucks in Japan I know a lot of of your subscribers are video game people and they don't know the vehicles I do I've had a couple people on your channel try to question what I'm talking about I know what I'm talking about I'm not a big gamer guy but I do know cars have been involved in the auto industry for over 45 years closer to 50 and everything from owning my own rim shop to working for TV automotive programs to being vice president of the large automobile aftermarket equipment
