Bit of a misnomer, the creations are faster but it's the lap times that are slower.

Cool idea

Day 4: Perhabskis one person builds a plane with propulsion and has to pull a glider up into the air. After detaching in the air the plane with propulsion has to land on the glider. Idealy the glider lands on the aircraft carrier or island...

I spent 6 hours yesterday perfecting my 15 Power Core plane (Jet League) to be in top 10 and Scrapman did not race in that league at all lol 😂

Looks like you both had a lot of fun! Btw, perhapskis next time you could repaint the vehicle to a different color when you're flying the same one so its easier to know who we're following!

At 3:07 something to point out: Aerodynamics means relating to aerodynamics, which is how an object interacts with a gas (namely air). I think you meant streamlined, which means it has a shape such that it has low aerodynamic resistance. Anyhow, great video as always!

Today on "We added to much thrust" Scrapman and a developer crash into walls repeatedly.

If this video taught me anything, it’s that Trailmakers needs to add a speed based dampening toggle to all moving parts.

You could probably do that with logic, but it would need a logic block for every flap to apply the dampening factor. A breadboard like From The Depths would be nice. Just like programming a microcontroller.

That last race felt like Eldar vs Ork. Sleek and elegant vs kAN style brick with smoke belching out the back. xD

These plane builds are insane... and I love the number of "perhapskis" I'm seeing in the comments. Perhapskis we'll get it added to a future edition of the Oxford English Dictionary. 🤣

If you need more than one power core it's an unoptimized build 😉

*Build challenge suggestion:* Could you make the equivalent of a tractor-trailer combination, but for other environments? (On the water, submersed, in the air, and space.) Or in other words: you have two sections, one that's towing and one that's being towed, connected by zero strength articulation. (Your seat can be in whichever part you want.) You kind of already did the space one when you did the space train. So I would add the requirement that the towing section has to use differential thrust to steer; i.e. no gyros or quantum rudders. (The trailer section can use quantum rudders, but no gyros. And of course still zero strength articulation between them).

After watching this, it looks really tempting to spend Power Cores 21 - 50 purely on Weapons to just keep shooting your competition down with cause you're in bad shape for options on how to add more maneuverability and speed that's already at the upper limit of how much that Course can handle. :P

just goes to show that the amount of powercores does not matter , it's how you use those powercores, that is most important.

Might've already done this, but I would love to see an evolution video where instead of taking the winner's vehicle and improving it, you instead take the worst one and see what you can do to improve / fix it.

yeaaaah when you get to using massive thrusters, ditch the wings, keep the fins for drag, rely on gyros only. you don't need lift when you are moving at Mach JESUS

Play Battleship Game in Trailmakers with friends but instead of using ships use submarines painted in light blue-green or sea color and try to sink them with the bomber planes while the subs are under water. If possible.

You should do a plane challenge where you have unequal thrust and you have to turn and balance out the thrust with aerodynamics

Try using gyros at max strength but Remove their controls and replace the controls with Xor gates and control the power through the gates, gives you max stability with less sensitivity. I use it in a lot of builds.

My best was 32s for 10 power cores here (on a real plane not a slab with gyros) it is a fun race I enjoyed it

you can use the hoverpad glitch were u can climb walls with if u stick one like vertical in tne front of the plane ull get faster maybe? I dont know if it works but in my thought that sounds like a infinity speed glitch because the hoverpad wont stop push u forward. For brakes u can use thrust that is facing against the hoverpad

My best so far is 43.41 seconds i think. I don't remember what league I was but I think it was jet league. The plane I used didn't have wings of any kind so it was really fun.😂

It will most probably be as difficult to get top 2% a few hrs after release of the race as it will be after few days. I would even say, that the longer you wait the easier it may be, since all pro, game loving players will take a crack at it asap, while the usual casual gamer will require a lot of time to get to it.
