This is the unofficial succsesor of S10e. My galaxy has the sensor swipe option from day one and I swear this is the most useful design feature ever. S10 is also features with an amazing camera and excellent video recording. I am very sad we don't have such an offering from Samsung.
One thing I'll agree on: smaller is better, and I'm digging flat screens again. I know it's bulkier, but my Fold4 feels so good in the hand (shout-out to Flossy) because it's so narrow when folded. This one has that candy bar proportion as well, and it looks GOOD.

Can anyone confirm if the North American version of the Zenfone 9 also has dual physical sim support? I was filled with hope when I saw that dual sim tray only to have it dashed when he whipped out the europlug charger immediately afterwards. It seems damn near impossible to find a dual physical SIM phone in North America anymore. Even the holdout Oneplus has dropped dual sim in their North American phones since the Oneplus 9. Using an international version isn't a great option because they lack support for some of the frequencies used in North America.

The S23 is fairly alone at this point and I get the feeling Samsung doesn't bother with an Ultra variant in a smaller form factor simply because of how few people buy the highest end small phones. 01:13 There is no need for a 4K display in any smartphone, ever. I think a reason can be made for 1440p, MAYBE, but even then it's not a necessary thing. I would much rather trade a 1440p/4K display for improved battery life. Nowadays, with the display improvements we have I don't feel lacking having a 1080p display on a smartphone. It's sharp enough for your daily tasks and if we're being honest, most of the time you use your phone you are absolutely not pixel peeping and being miffed that you're only on 1080p.

I like this phone but the photo cameras are very disappointing, the S10e is 3 years old and takes better photos, but the Zenfone 9 software, performance, battery and speaker are amazing.

Yes, this is not for a photographer, just the casual camera user.
Headphone jack makes this phone the best flagship of past 3 years
The biggest issues for this device in the USA market are limited support by carriers and a $0 Trade-in value in major retail stores. It can't compete with Pixel 7 by any means.

Might be? It litterally is.
The cameras on this are horrendous. I tried everything, including the gCam. Maybe they can iron out the issues with software.. Everything else is spot on.
