Dear Tom, my son is 4.and most of time his blood sugar is always more than 200, some time 300. We are doing our best to take it under control. And last 2 days he has hipoglycemy between 16 and 18. Just want to know the reason of it. Why it happens every day at same time?

@@mahirbalayev5835 if it haepens everyday at same time there must be something he is doing everyday at the same time that increases insuline absorption, exercice or high activity moment. is it after a meal? does it only haepen at that moment in the day? if it always haepens at the same moment or time periode try to give him 10 to 15g of suger like 30 minutes befour it usualy haepens, sometimes wen that haepens to me because of slow acting insuline i do eat some sugar to prevent that low! and i dont see any other way of doing it, keep in mind aldo we might be type 1 diabetics sometimes our pancreas still produces some insuline, and if his pancreas is producing some at that expesific moment of the day that might be causing its low.... hope i help in aome way man

Yes it is useful information. it happens every day after coming from yard and after sleeping a little, when he has meal and playing with toys. I tried this exercise today for the first time, I am on day 2 of wearing a cgm, and it's been educational. Today, after a meal, my sugar just wouldn't budge, so I decided to try this. I probably overdid it, I did them for 50 minutes. My initial number was 206, and I went down to 157 in those 50 minutes! That's a drop of 49 mg/dl! I was amazed at the results! Thanks for this! I'm going to share this with everyone I know who is diabetic!

No matter how active you are, and what kind of exercise you do. If you don’t have insulin in blood, you can run a marathon and it won’t drop. Yes, exercise helps to lower blood sugar, but only if there’s is some insulin in blood.

good point, actually if no insuline in circullation it will only go up eaven doing exercice, so lets say the only way to lower glucose wen your a type 1 is to use insuline! thers no other way.

Thanks Tom 👍🏼👍🏼 Edit… It’s 9.10pm here in 🇬🇧 We went out for a meal for tea and I couldn’t count/weigh my carbs so I guessed my bolus. I levelled at 9.3mmol at 8.30.
