Edit: This got patched today already :( For maybe obvious reasons this video is not in line with the current series but was instead uploaded to show off the glitch and have a bit of fun with it. Maybe I will do some more videos about this glitch just on some weapons that can get more beams and such.

hi dex for your info what worked for me have to try this after seeing your vid here.. when you are in your quit menu press no then you come back to the rightclick menu then just press esc once and the game continues normally hope that will help you out

It's likely hp X level, same thing vampire survivors does, so since you have so many "levels" they're getting an equivalent health multiplier

Good morning, they have already fixed it, you can't do it anymore ^^ I wanted to try it out myself with the minigun on reload and fire rat and see if the FPS drops. In any case, it doesn't work for me with controller or keyboard.

there is also another bug that allows you to farm a level as long as you want, it happened to me twice, it seems you jump off the drop pod ramp at about 0 time left and it doesn't leave, and new timer comes up counting down from -2mins, but when the seconds reach zero the min goes up rather than down and you can farm all you want and still be able to leave and progress to the next stage, this happened to me just hours ago so I do not think it is patched yet, like this one is

Dex is pumping out the content, loving it.

First off, that was insane. Second, Electrical damage has a tendency to jump between targets sometimes, that's probably why your turret direct damage was less than the electrical damage overall. The "jumping" of the shocks did some additional overall damage on its own.

Omg that was beautiful I've always wondered how drgs would be like with even more turrets!

Electrical total is higher then damage from turrets cause electrical can arc to other enemies which is not counted as damage by the weapon. Think it is same with all the status effect damage types, so burning ticks counts as fire damage but think not as direct damage from the weapon that causes the burn. Same with acid.

Glad i had my fill with it last night after watching the video. Got a ton of weapon overclocks unlocked so now i can actually enjoy playing every class.

This would probably be wild with an all throwabale build you wouldn't be able to see anything more than you already couldn't before using this bug or the status effect digger build with just endless beams, range, and duration.

you can get your screen back to normal if when the save screen pops up you press esc 2 times, just tested it out!

What worked for me was pressing Escape to get into the normal Pause Screen and then Right Click Enter on the "On/Off" Button in the top right. When the game asks you to quit you click on "no" and after that I could return to the game normally. No blurry screen or whatsoever.

should try this with the flamethrower/sludge pump if you salvage the upgrade at max upgrade there's a chance to get the legendary upgrade +1 beam meaning you can spam the buff and get as many beams as you want, easier to do with the flamethrower as you can start with it and get it within the first minute or so if not just restart your run until you do.

literally i search all over youtube for someone goes full mining speed on driller and i found this video instead. now my life is complete i can rest now... thank you dex

There's another glitch, just goto the ramp on exit, stand close to the edge near the bottom 1/3 of the ramp. Wait till the time hits 2. Once it goes to flip to 1, start spamming the direction left to right back and forth. If you do it correctly, it will try to suck you into the ship but instead pushes you off the ramp, then you can free roam a map for as long as you want and level up the weapons.

Now one with nades. Or the flamethrower guy just getting a permanent huge ring of fire that covers the map

I went and tried this out, its a blast to mess around with lol I also found my first GOLD loot bug while doing it lol I did not even know there was gold loot bugs, it gave me a bunch of XP and 31 gold. As for the enemies being stronger I have a feeling they depend on how many lvls you have in the run so by doing this you spike the enemies up like you are at the end of the run already and they will only get tougher

In the end it just became a biblically accurate angel for the bugs

I've used this glitch a few times, it makes for pretty boring runs. It is really handy for completing objectives though.

I expect the lingering damage (enemies on fire, acid, electric damage over time) dont count towards the weapons damage itself.

fun fact: after the glitch has been initated, you can hit the reroll button and have 3 choices to pick from without ending the glitch. player upgrades can only be used once, but do not end the glitch. thus if you have alot of gold you can reroll and infinitely upgrade all points of your weapons and your player.

I got an infinite time bug as well but its hard to recreate. I could only do it on the first map as well. goes like this: just be near the ship and mlet the timer run out i think you have to be near bottom of the ramp but not on it just in the general area only on map 1 I could do it. The timer would just restart but with higher and higher intervals of time. made it easy to mine but too hard to recreate so I stopped.

I tapped S over and over on the ramp and it created the timing glitch. Didn't even mean to do it.

This glitch ended my hazard 5 run on level 5… was so mad. Had another glitch that caused my dwarf to stop moving as if he was in the drop pod but on the outside as I was coming around to the front to get in and send the drop pod down before the timer was done but still counted it as not making it to the drop pod. Overall fun but glitchy or dare I say… buggy.

Has it been fixed now? Trying it out, but it doesn't work.

Got the bug twice today (26/02/2024) and it happen when i've leveled up while taking the drop pod

I'm so sad this is already patched. I wanted to use it to help me get some of those Haz 5 challenges! Personally I'm finding it hard to survive normally without very specific weapon builds.

Nonono!!!! This bugs will ruin the game! I just tried that and it even wont blur the screen.

BS that they patched it, I wanted to try this to have some fun. Its a single player game, why worry about this stuff.

EDIT: nevermind... you and your 400 damage turrets SHRED your 30 turret run looks pretty much the same as my normal turret+flame turret combo run in terms of enemies dying so there might be a hidden scaler

Hilarious and will get patched eventually. but still fun non the less. maybe they could leave this bug in for an endless mode in future. ( or make it a feature)

It's too bad Dex picked +3 Drones over leaving a trail of fire. It's not like he needed to spend an overclock on that.

Haha that would hav ebeen fun, BUT in the first attempt to record the bug I had around 300 electric drones and chose the tethering that makes a connection to the player. The game crashed xD

This glitch is actually life saving for unlocking overclock on the new weapons. It’s so annoying that you can’t use it straight from the start

Considering that this looks more fun than the base game, the devs should probably consider some aspects of what is going on here lol.

einfach mal n paar videos spoilern... so ein lümmel... :D in der demo haben die viechers mitgelevelt, zumindest hat sichs so angefühlt wo ich die lvl 100 meilensteine gemacht hab. ich hatte 4 waffen auf vollem overclock und ich habs nie wirklich geschafft die viechers zu outscalen sozusagen.

hmm doesn't work for me maybe I'm to stupid to do it ^^

lol I mean this is how it has always been, they pop up on reddit and YT, people have fun with it for a day or a week until the dev patches it out. Most bug glitches like this are found by the players and the devs end up seeing it and fixing it, its part of the process now a days
