This Lavivid Hair System Will Last HOW LONG?!

Hey friends! I'm back with a review of the new Lavivid Tyler hair system.
First, this is a brand new type of system for me. You might know that I love a good poly/thin skin system and this one is a MAJORITY lace. So watch the full video for my take on how it feels and the overall quality level - but so far I love it.
Check out the Tyler here: www.lavividhair.com/men-hair-system/tyler-hair-system-for-men-unmatched-natural-scalp-appearance-long-lasting-for-up-to-a-year_p2879.html

Last but not least, just know that I see you and I'm proud of the changes you've been making. You may not think I get it, but I've been there - and I completely get it.
Enjoy the video!
And to my ARM - wings :)

I got 2 years with my full french lace now. I remove daily and use tape. I just ordered another one. 36 year hair wearer good content here. so 2 years was the most i got in any piece . least i got was 4 months but usually i get 12-13 months per unit. only with lace .Poly system 8 months and they are trashed...Also remove daily with those but now ill use lace for a while for longevity.. Always tape and remove daily for hygiene,,,

My record was 8 months, and it was a lace system. I did love it for a while. Super durable but just a lot harder to deal with than poly imo. What I miss most about it is the comfort. Running your hands through a well installed lace system is pretty amazing.

Looks a great system Michael, maybe a bit too dense for my age. Good to see you back too.

I’m fact, having a small gap and not having it go all the way to the edge actually prevents the line from the lace and your skin from being overly noticeable or becoming dirty and showing a hard line

I find if you wear a cap or a hat all day the hair flattens right down and looks really natural. No need to wear the cap or hat again.

It's like you're in my brain. The hair settled pretty well but wearing a hat today to get rid of the final poof :)

@michaeljosephghd I’ve been using small clips and bobby pins at night under a silk cap which does wonders for flattening a new puffy system

intrigued to know how a french lace front can last a year. I use a poly base with a french lace front and it is usually the lace that is the first to shed resulting in the need to replace the system.

You would have to cut back the fronts on the lace as they shed.that is the only thing that is bad, also use knot sealer on the base.. If the fronts did not shed out then the pieces would double the lifespan but that is the toss up between poly and lace..@@michaeljosephghd

No doubt hair makes a difference..just an opinion of mine ..would you consider lowering the hair line down an inch and have little more of a peak with bleach knots to make it lot more natural looking ...I done work in theater and seen many hair systems .. just a thought of mine.

Sure, a hairline is what gives us character to our faceshape with your face shape. For example, a Christopher Hemsworth hairline has a slight "V" shape peak . it's not just round this may work well with your face..just my suggestion only..but If anything i do recommend a bleach knot hairline hair system, it has a more up close natural look to it.

The base may be more durable and hair may last that long, but the big issue is the there's no way to combat the oxidation process affecting the color - and for me, that alone renders the 12 mo guarantee useless.

For the record, I think Micheal is great and I would take his advice for any new hair system wearers. But for me personally, there's no scenario where I'm even considering recoloring my system, which mean 4 mo max on any hair system.

@@kevinjohnson3715 I totally agree with you. I’m happy to be the guinea pig for this one! I usually switch out every 3-4 months MOSTLY due to the color change as I also don’t want to dye my systems.

Looks good! Too dense for a old fucker like me,lol! I wish lavid had a less dense stock option 70% for older hair wearers. Thinning out the system is a waste of hair. Also if done to much it doesnt look right. That happened to me once it was a bad experince. Fyi to minimize the puffyness, before install, wash system twice, comb flat on a stryrofoam head, then let air dry over night.

  • @michaeljosephghd

I hear ya! Over the next few years I’m going to slowly go lower density. And thanks for the tip! It’s called down quite a bit now and is looking very nice 👌 😊
