There are two Bruins teams, the first is utterly dominant and the second would lose to pretty much any playoff team in recent history. All depends on if they show up or not.

The good thing is that Swayman is goalie for both teams. The terrible low effort Bruins can rear their ugly head and the other team STILL probably isn't scoring more than 1 or 2 goals. The Bruins can play like garbage and still have a puncher's chance as long as Swayman is doing this.

The eye test is THE only test. Also, I'm tired of people not realizing a team played well just because they lost. People forget about all the times their team almost scored or got robbed by the goalie or hit the post, and act like their team sucked just because they didn't win.

The bruins winning wasn’t as much as a surprise as the scoring being more than a one goal difference I have loved Swayman since he joined the team and have been hoping he’d break through and get a chance to ; finally Monty gave him the reins this year and he’s taken off After Bergeron, Sway was my favourite bruin (and also favourite active player) and he continues to get better every year-I am still upset Sweeney tried to low ball him last summer, and I hope they get him locked in long term this summer because WOW dude learned from Tuukka Rask after he stole the backup job from Halak the divisional bubble year, not a bad mentor lol

Both teams had bad giveaways from their top defenders, McAvoy turnover leads to Tkachuk goal, Ekblad turnover leads to Geekie tying the game, and another turnover leading to a Pasta breakaway.

ullmark wasn't the problem game 2, that said Boston is in an extremely enviable position of having a veritable tandem tag team that can lean on one over the other. rest of team needs to not only meet the playoff moment the way both our goalies have, but keep consistent and focused, one game at a time, no resting on laurels, not period to period, nor game to game. but marking ullmark as game 2 "x factor" just bc it wasn't Swayman excuses everyone else not showing up for the guy. trust and take heart... having ullmark rested and waiting, chomping at the bit, is an undercover asset, not liability.

What's up with the clickbait titles that aren't really explained in the video? What SHOCKED the NHL? Was it that Swayman started? Was it how Boston played? You did this on another video the other day too. It's kind of annoying to not find out the reason why I clicked the video.

Disney has done you a disservice. There are TWO train of thoughts: 1 yes, more rest is better. But 2 no, Boston was game/off/game/off rhythm, whereas Florida had a rust factor, something their own coach admitted to pre - and during game interviews. Always been 2 sides to the 'rest during playoffs' coin.

FL's gears weren't really lubed up... they may have suspected simply picking up where they left Boston in last year's playoffs... in the dust... however... Bruins hockey smothered FL in regular season. This is playoffs, so write that regular season away of course. However, Panthers will make a surge. Question: Will Bruins be able to counter? p.s. have you ever seen another team control the puck with the skate as much as Florida? I mean, it seemed on every end there was at least one player touching the skate to puck, hey, I like it, but I haven't seen that as much as in Game 1... ever... ?or am I imagining things?
