Well, you missed a golden era of football if you think that Messi's short-side passing technique called "Zig-Zag" is something most beautiful to watch in this sport. I think Messi fans should ask Messi who was his teacher who advised him by own experience and helped him to grow into a new Barca star after previous stars like Rivaldo. See, gens form 2000 to this day think it's Messi, but it's not Messi at all. You have some Messi's interview on yt where he talks about his teacher, not to mantion what Messi would answer on the question who is better, him or his teacher. This topic is crystal clear, and I don't know why ppl are so fuckin' stupid and constantly arguee about this topic saying that football is all about stupid stats. They think that football"s beauty is just in waiting a ball/right pass and scoring a lot of goals? Actually, they don't even know what makes this game a beautifull to watch, and all they know is a name Messi. When someone is talking about Messi, especially a ppl who belongs to younger gens, they show us how little they know about football. If you just take a Thiery Henry as one example, a goat who has his own statue on "Gunners" stadium, he is at least 10 times better than Messi in every single way, doesn't matter is it dribbling, precise kicks, psysical strenght, teamplay etc., but this man isn't even considerent in top 5 of all times, so what is Messi in compare to one example, Henry? His literally like a child, like nothing, so what can we say about Messi's techer if you think that Messi is the best? A top player like Henry just as one example was able to keep Barca on the top in Europe's CL for years without a new kid Messi, and Barca would be a dominant club in the next few years, but if we take in consideration Samuel Eto, we could easily say that Barca would be a dominant club at least 10 years with these two players without Messi, Rivaldo or Ibra, so Messi isn't unique player if we have a players like Henry who are bigger than Messi, and if so, the biggest question reimains the same, what could we say about Messi's teacher? Do you even know who he was? See, Messi's "unseen glory in football history" simply has no cover at all, and in the next 10-15 years from now, nobody will talk about Messi because he isn't unique like some other players was.

I am a Messi fan but I do not understand how the fact that Ronaldo has been trained means he is something less of a player. His hard work and determination are to be admired. I do believe Messi is the better player but even though there are a lot of statistics provided as proof for that I still believe this is subjective. Both of them are the best players to ever play football and I hate it when people try to diminish their achievements. Enjoy the race while it lasts because we will wait a couple of decades for such players to be born...

To be best u don't only need brain.. U need some mentality,.. Sometimes heart can beat brains and that's why Cr7 is best.. This video is all about statistics.. Mostly last season.. Where Cr7 is almost got old.. Any way stats.. But where is Messi in big games.. I really enjoy these types of videos about Messi, more than his highlight videos. We are truly lucky to be in the actual Messi era of soccer and not in the “ man I wish I was around in those times, where I can actually watch him play in real time era”. Truly a gift when it comes to sports.

It's been long since I started watching football and all I can say is.. I never wanna see him getting retired. Never wanna see him getting old. Just wanna see him play as long as I live. Love from far away to the best footballer in the entire universe.

Not taking anything away from Ronaldo but when Ferdinand mentioned that Messi doesn’t meet the physical aspects of what he (Messi) accomplishes/d, wouldn’t you take the time to actually think logically?
