I have 47 years in recovery from most everything. Stopped drinking first and spent many years in AA. On to coda and ACA( adult children of alcoholics) then SLAA( relationship addiction) gave up shopping which truly was an addiction. Never smoked cigarettes so escaped that one. Quite a journey! Still must work every day on myself because it’s extremely easy to slip back. Finding myself is the name of the game. I just keep going.

Omg, we had the exact same years- I started drinking at 15 and got in AA at 32! But, looking back, the relationship addiction was even worse in a way than the alcohol addiction. It was a soul crushing addiction. Feeling if the “ other” left, I wouldn’t survive! The little child within was terrified. I put up with things that were really bad! Married a raging alcoholic that beat me badly. Left him and married a raging sex addict that could have given me AIDS or God knows what! We divorced and I had severe panic attacks for over a year. Went down to 99 pounds with a eating disorder. Finally , with therapy slowly made my way back to some sanity. My childhood really messed me. Two alcoholic parents that should never had a child.

Hey.. At first you came on and your voice was alright & just played it anyway. Then next day after my daily THANK YOU video there your voice came out my laptop.. Listened to a few words and let you talk you video off and went about my day. Background noise I just told myself. Well day after day my subconscious mind kept listening. Until today, when crying and begging for a "SIGN" the pain inside does not seem to want to leave. Over 2 years now have been growing and thought the pain inside would have been lifted. Then during yoga had you playing and it clicked. "IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR A SIGN LET THIS BE IT!!" My ears heard it. My greatest strength is courage to keep going even though it hurts. No idea who you are and why you kept coming up. I do not believe in coincidences have always called them *GODWINKS* - Not making a decision has been my choice to stay stuck & live in my past.. Thank you so much for this motivational video. Being a single mother of 4/ 14 yrs honorable Navy veteran with health issues, every day I teach my kids to do their best with respect, honor and humbleness not to depend on anyone. To put God/ Jah/Jesus first. That honesty is the best policy. Because its just them and me as a family and to strive to be their best. Without extended family support, just Jah/Jesus and me , the kids are doing well in school. Being betrayed, rejected, abused and abandoned. Thank you so much with this inspirational messages. I needed to hear this. Going back to college to complete my education is in my bucket list. I love education so much, yet, with my life's mistakes in marriages to the wrong people, has cost me half of my life and my education and future. Indeed, I am a survivor and a warrior. This time is for me. To do my best. I finally found me. I wasted time to the wrong people that never loved me but abused me. Now I'm walking in my own path to be my best. Its incredible to see how different problems can be and how much they are linked to the same solution. Im 21 yo alone, dreaming to make more friends my love one to share moments. But im alone, by my own fault, suffering from asking myself who can i see to share this weekend ? It seems i have to work on my tought and move myself as well to reach what's missing.

Eddie.. your videos have likely been a part of what saved my life.

Im on the cusp of 6 months in recovery, everyday I start with turning on one of Eddie's speeches and listening as I get my day going it's a routine that has delivered successful results for me and Im excited for my future.

KZread has literally been my therapy all throughout my business journey. I think a lot of times as entrepreneurs we feel confused, lost, discouraged, stressed when we don’t see what we want and nobody understands so hearing things like this helps. Entrepreneurship is beautiful but it does have its downs and hearing this has really helped

It's now 2024. I have been listening to you for a bit. I appreciate your motivation especially on the days where the anxiety & depression try to hold me down. We joke about how my mental health reflects the state of my home - dishes piled in the sink. A few loads of laundry still need washing and a floor that hasn't been vacuumed once during the week. I'm regular cleaning & deep cleaning my kitchen now, despite having no energy for it, while listening to you. Thank you.

That's personal medicine Amanda. The ability to have an emotional response when a chord is struck within us. The worst thing that could happen to you is to be so disconnected from your inner self that little to nothing can invoke a laugh or shedding tears,.the lump in the throat, the serendipity to kick up your leg behind you, or the occasional skipped beat of your heart that takes your breath. I am on my own journey to get clean. I make it for a few days and get to sick and right back to the hustle and I am tired of all of it. I want to be a better person in every way possible. I want to love and be loved. I want to be Normal. I want to be wanted. I need to make changes asap. I am scared and I just need a little help. I found finding my spiritually and knowing my soul is here after this body is tired and no longer serves me brings ne peace . Finding that and living and intentional life each day is a process . Love yourself and know your worth has been my biggest struggle on my journey to get clean n sober. . Admittedly accepted my faults and wrong doing and letting go of it made me feel lighter and walk taller .
