For the puzzle, the best move continuation is Queen g7, and the next best move for black is b5 If black plays the best moves there isn't mate, soon but engine shows that the following are the best moves for the fastest mate if black plays perfectly: Rook takes on h8, black rook takes back, white queen takes the black rook on h8, black king moves to b7, then rook e1, black pawn moves to a5, rook e8 and black king moves to a7. Pawn b3 and pawn b4, then rook c8 and black king moves to b6, rook a8 and queen d5, white queen moves to b8 and checks, king moves to c6, a6 check and king d7, queen h8 by white and black queen checks on d1, only move for white is king b2, and the black queen moves back to d5. White rook goes to a8 and black king moves to c6, white plays rook a7 and queen moves to f5. Queen e8 check by white and black king moves to d5, white checks again with queen b5, king moves to e4 to protect the queen, white queen takes the black queen on f5 and king takes back. White rook then takes on c7 an black king moves to e5, white plays rook to a7 and black king moves to d5. White rook takes on e5 to check and king moves to c6, rook checks on a6, king moves to c5, then white king moves to c1, and black king goes back to d5. King d2 and king c5 follow, then king d3 and black king once again, moves back to d5. Rook checks on a5 and king moves to c6 again. Rook goes to h5, then the black king move to d7, then rook to b5 and king to e7 is played. White checks on b7 with rook and black king moves to e6. Rook takes on b4, and king moves to f7, which is followed by pawn a4 and king e6. Pawn a5 and king d5 gets played, and white moves his pawn to a6 and king moves to c5 to threaten the rook. White plays a7 preparing to promote and sacrificing the rook, which the black king takes on b4 and the white pawn promotes to a queen. Black king moves to c5, and white king moves to c3. Black pushes the pawn to c3 and queen checks diagonally on f8. King moves to c6 and queen checks on f6. King moves to c7, and white king moves to d4, and black moves to d7. White then moves the king to c5, and black's best move is to c7. Queen f7 forces the king to the 8th rank, which black moves to b8. White king then moves to b6, black moves to c8, and queen c7 checkmates black 42 moves after the original start of the puzzle.

I think the best move for white is the Q to D7, A Queen Sacrifice. Because- 1. if Black, QxD7 (Captures the White Queen), Then Rook can simply capture the black queen, and then white can take out the second rook, putting the pressure on Pawn on B7.( White also have to make space for the king by moving the pawn, because the black can bring the rook in action (on row of 1) and it will end in a checkmate) 2. If Black does not captures the white Queen, the Q to B7 is a checkmate (If black queen does not have control on B7 square) 3. And if h8RxRh7, then queen recapture the rook. And with the help of the rook left preparing for the checkmate ( White also have to make space for the king by moving the pawn, because the black can bring the rook in action (on row of 1) and it will end in a checkmate)

Amazing video as always. Sir can you make a video on nimzo indian? There aren't any good video on that opening on KZread. Another request is you made a video like "8 best replies against d4" for e4. That video was really helpful to decide new opening against queen's gambit. Can you please make similar video for e4 like " best replies against e4". Puzzle answer:- 1)queen to g7. If black captures queen on g7 then h7 rook will capture rook on h8 and it will be checkmate after 2 two. Similarly if black capture rook on h7 then queen capture g8 will be a checkmate after 1 move. If he does nothing like queen to b6 then h7 rook will capture g8 rook and then he has recapture with his g8 rook to h8. Finally queen capture rook on h8 will be a checkmate. If he moves his a7 pawn for escaping still white will be rook up by similar sequence. Lastly if black playes queen to e8 than queen capture on c7. Black has to move his king to a8 and then queen to b7 is a checkmate.

Rf1 is the best move because 1) If Black does Rxh7 then Qxg8 is check and then after Black plays Qe8 then White takes the Queen by playing Qxe8 and its a checkmate 2) If Black plays Rf8 then White can capture the Rook on h8 by playing Rxh8, the black rook is pinned and after Black plays Pa6 or Pb6 then White can capture the Black Rook with Rxf8 or Qxf8 (First time commented the puzzle answer, love your videos Jeetendra sir 💖 )

Happy International Chess Day Jeetendra sir! The answer to your puzzle is Qg7!!! If Rxg7 Rxh8+, Rg8 Rxg8#!! If black doesn’t take the queen and plays a move like a5, then Rxh8 just wins.... Keep up the hard work, great video!

That doesn’t work because either the rook or queen can take white’s queen and black just wins.

I still see a way for black to stop the checkmate which is after Qc6 play bxc6 and after white recaptures with bxc6 (threatening mate with Ra8#) black plays Qb1+ Rxb1 (if Kh2 then Qxa1 Rxa1 and Kb8) Rxb1 Re8 Rba1 again mate and then Ke8

Magnus had a way to stop checkmate. Qb1 check... R x Qb1 b7Pawn x Qc6.. White pawn captured c6. Then Ng1 to e7(The white pawn is in threat) Thus Magnus could avoid checkmate.

You could do a schilemann gambit video where you can challenge the Ruy Lopez up to a point ( its not refuted by Stockfish either, its just slightly unpleasant for black with +0.5 for white by move 20. I know there is more respected variations like the Breyer and Chigorin Ruy but theory suggests that black gets strangled by slow maneuvering by white with +0.3 advantage

♟♟♟Happy International Chess day to all of you !♟♟♟ And the puzzle answer is - 1.Qg7 sacrificing the Queen. If black moves a6 then - R+h7 and we will be ahead in the material. If black moves R*g7 then- Rh8+ it will be force for white to either put his queen or his rook in the between and if Rg8 then R*g8 + then Qe8 and the last move is to R*e8 checkmate.

Actually Carlsen lost the game play, he can move his queen to B1 check, than white Rook takes black queen, Black pawn takes white queen.... From here he can get a chance to escape from a checkmate and also there will be material equality
