Here's one of the most beautiful games in chess history played in 1844 between Alexander Hoffman (white) & Alexander Petrov (black). This game from the romantic era of chess is known as Petrov’s Immortal & features one of the greatest queen sacrifice ever & probably the best castling move of all time. This game also features some interesting moves, tactics, ideas, strategies, tricks & traps. Alexander Dimitrovich Petrov, the inventor of Petrov’s Defense, and author of one of the first Russian chess manuals (1824), was the outstanding Russian player of his day. He gained this supremacy in his teens, and held the top position for more than fifty years! This game illustrates the finest example of castling in chess, and may be used to help beginners study a master game while learning about the rules for castling, sacrificing material for the attack, and constructing a mating net. The opening employs the very unusual Ghulam Kassim Variation of the Giuoco Piano. I also have an interesting chess puzzle at the end of this video, let's see if you can find the mate in 2 moves.

EXCELLENT

Nice video!
Answer to the puzzle: Firstly, we have to remove the black rook from guarding the d8 square and at the same time clear the d file. So Nc7+ is the accurate move. Rxc7 is forced and we finally struck the final nail in the coffin by playing Rd8# and its a beautiful checkmate.

Thanks chess talk!!!!!!
beautiful puzzle❤
That was a Very exciting game.
Puzzel:- knight ho in front of Rook giving a check and rook has to capture the knight and then giving a check with white's rook just on the right of the black king is a beautiful check mate
The puzzle answer with explanation: 1. Nc7+ (deflects the rook from the defence of d8 square. 1... Rxc7 (forced) 2. Rd8# (This is a checkmate as the knight on c6 is pinned by b5 bishop. Sir this was a very brilliant game played. Thanks for showing this! 💕

Fantastic Game
Thank you I never knew this
With respect to advani sir , The solution for puzzle is as follows 1 . Bishop takes on f3 knight . 2 . If pawn takes bishop then knight to f2 and if rook takes knight , rook e8 to e1 is wonderful mate . Going back after bishop takes on knight , if rook takes on bishop f3 then still knight to f2 and if rook takes then again rook e8 to e1 is a wonderful mate . Thankyou sir , beacause of you and chess universe i am able to play chess much better than before .

i have used petrov defense many times. nice output . checkmate.
Mind blowing 😲😲
Answer 1:Bxc6+!!, bxc6 (if Rxc6 then Nc7+, Rxc7, Rd8#) 2: Nc7+, Rxc7 3: Rd8#
PUZZLE- white Knight f7 check, black rook takes knight, white rook e8 a beautiful joyful checkmate.
Very good vidéo that s very interesting
To be honest, I found the castling move not because of thumbnail but I noticed two Bishops there and active knight and the rook that keeps White King restricted. And for the puzzle, Nc7+ Rxc7 Rd8# The Opera Mate
I am new to this channel I loved your channel
Can you please explain the all types of draws in chess and also how to avoid them?
Gajab bhai
6:08 Puzzle answer: 1. Nc7+!! This move checks the black king. Since the black king cant move, only move black can play is to capture the knight with his rook, giving up the d8 square. 1. Rxc7 2. Rd8#! Beautiful back rank checkmate. Remember that the black knight is pinned and cant capture.
Nice video sir..❤️ Puzzle: 1. Nc7+ - Rxc7 (forced) 2. Rd8# (c6 Knight pinned, rook supported by bishop) Edit: Thanks for the likes 😀 I hope sir hearts my comment.
Nice
Just look at it wow brilliant he sac of queen and checkmate out of nowhere
Fun fact - according to the engine castling is a blunder although it leads to a unstoppable mate in all variations
First B*C6+ after with whatever he takes with rook or pawn (Taking is forced as the king is trapped) we give Nc7+, Rook is forced to take the knight as the king is trapped. So R*c7 by black and Rd8# is the final nail in the coffin as it is a checkmate. We can also continue with NC7+ as the knight is pinned to the king. so there is both mate in two and three.
Puzzle = Nc7+ And He must tack that Night with his rook. Then Rd8# ..It's A beautiful checkmate and He can't cut with his Night because Our bishop is pinned his Night.. Thank you for your puzzles and This invincible super game ..Good Luck !
Bro u are the best. With u r help managed to win against my mentor.he was really surprised thenks bro ♥️♥️
Key for the puzzle : I found the key very fastly, because I saw there can trap the black king by opera mate, and removeing barriers to that mating pattern. First, Bc6+ Then this is a exchange so,black will capture this bishop by his rook or pawn, but it isn't a problem. Then we go for a knight sacrifice, Nc7+ black king hasn't any safe squares, so black has to capture our knight by his rook. Now our mating pattern is very clear. Simply we can checkmate the tasty black king by Rd8# !!!! Thanks chess talk for making like this video🙏
Thanks
You deserve a sub :)
I love your videos
Solution of the puzzle- 1.Nc7+ R×c7(only legal move) 2.Rd8# check and mate Knight can't take the rook because it is pinned to the bishop.

Moving Knight at front of black's rook is the best move.
White knight to C7. It's a check to black. Black has to take the knight with it's rook. Then white rook to D8. It's a beautiful checkmate 👍
