Chess puzzle answer: Qd4, bishop has to take otherwise its checkmate (cannot block with the pawn, if with the queen, simply take the queen and when the bishop takes, take back with your bishop). Now there is no way black can stop the Rh8 checkmate, black can do nothing but postpone the checkmate.

For the puzzle, I think the best move is Qd4 then if bxd4 , we take back with bxd4. Then whatever move black plays, on the next move, we can play Rh8# that is defended by our bishop on d4. Black cannot move the pawn on the lightsquare infront of the king because it is pinned by the bishop on c4.

If white plays Qd4 then black plays Qf6, black could use the f7 pawn but the f7 pawn is pinned by c4 bishop Edit: after queen exchange the black's bishop is now at f6 and then white takes with it's own bishop and Rh8# is inevitable.

The puzzle's answer is: White queen to D4. If black capture the queen, white can capture the bishop at D4, black queen to E3 captures the pawn, pawn takes it, black rook to E8, white rook to H8 CheckMate. If black move queen to F6, queen takes black queen, bishop captures back, white bishop takes black bishop, black move something, rook to H8 is CheckMate. So black has no way to stop checkmate.
