Is it a guarantee that the Bears are taking Caleb Williams? Do the Bears really want to deal with everything that comes with Caleb Williams? Supposedly, the Bears will make their final decision after watching Caleb Williams throw and hopefully run the 40 at his Pro Day. I said it since Fields was drafted he was a bust cause he can't read defenses. He was a terrible draft pick by the bears.

This is actually a smart move for the Bears, they are bringing in a technician that can help the people in-house and if they draft a wr, he can help to get a rookie moving and educated in how and why the inteicacies of route running are so important. This move helps the team in many ways.

Don't really see him getting one with the bears, let alone being competitive enough to make the playoffs. @@hughjazz743 the bears almost made the playoffs with bottom 10 qb play and a bottom half offense. They tremendously upgraded the talent on that side. They’re going to be competitive!

They based the video on the assumption that Caleb Williams is the quarterback because he is going to be the quarterback. It’s probably one of the most obvious things since the Cardinals decided to draft Kyler Murray a year after drafting Josh Rosen. If you’re a fields fan, you can’t just sit there and and say you’ve actually watched tape on fields because if you did, you would see what other GM in the NFL saw once they took a deep dive on his film. If you really look at every passing stat, along with wins losses, Trubisky is a a better quarterback, and the fields fans couldn’t wait to get rid of him

Justin fields can’t read a defense nor throw vs a drop zone, he’s literally a terrible passer, Pickett has way more potential as a passer, that’s what teams want from a QB, they don’t want their QB rushing for 800yds but only can pass for 2500 yds or less

DJ Moore is good but hes not Keenan Allen. He is only being rated higher cause hes more durable. I expect Keenan Allen to get most of the targets and Moore being the number 2 guy. Allen is going to catch over 100 balls in this offense. Moore will catch 70-80 but unless he has another career game like last year when he got over 200 yards he will be lucky to get 1000 yards recieving. We know Keenan Allen will cause he gets to much volume. He also has a bigger contract then Moore showing hes the better wr. But he will probably get hurt so Moore will get drafted higher but Allen is the better value investment per game.

Imagine this Batman… If Ryan Poles is thinking Keenan factors into being just a 2-3yr rental… He could easily trade away this years 1st overall pick and slide down to 2 or 3, then take "Maserati" Marv Jr. with that pick to fill the gap for Keenan future departure. But then you're stuck with that 2025 contract extension for JF1 DJ Moore, Keenan Allen & Maserati Marv... Such a scary good scenario, right?

you've gotta be completely delusional or just not understand football if you think there's any chance that the Bears don't pick Caleb Williams at #1. That is fully what they intend on doing and overwhelming the most likely outcome. The only way it doesn't is it someone gives them an absolutely ridiculous amount of player and/or draft capital to give up the first overall pick. It's pretty clear they've been setting this team up to be the best possible situation for Caleb. It doesn't make any sense from a talent or economic standpoint to not pick Caleb at #1. To not pick Caleb and keep Justin Fields would essentially be the GM betting his job on Justin Fields. Something he's definitely not about to do. It's crazy to me that people can really look at anything going on with the Bears and think it indicates the Bears aren't drafting Caleb Williams.

Why not upgrade the receiving core and give Fields a shot....trade the 1st overall and get some more weapons for the QB.

Fields has proven that his brain explodes when he has to look at more than two targets. He showed it his rookie year when he barely threw the ball to Allen Robinson, and he showed it again last year when Mooney was just an afterthought. Fields has yet to demonstrate an ability to spread the ball around consistently. I'm afraid that either Moore, Allen, or Kmet would experience a huge regression if Fields is still the Bears' starting QB.

@Portuducks Caleb Williams has proven he's a "Beta male" that paints his finger nails and cries in his mommas arms when he loses a game....I'm not a Bears fan so it doesn't matter to me if they draft Williams or keep Fields

@Portuducks I'm sorry I'm not aware of this "Dennis Rodman" who played QB in the NFL...did he read defenses....make protection calls at the line of scrimmage...audible to another play to get a miss match? Only "Dennis Rodman" I know of played a different sport was tall and rebounded a basketball pretty well and played some defense
