As long as the bread is fresh and/or the fish isn't dry, this sandwich is amazing.

Yeah the fish definitely isn’t dry I bit into one Fish fillet and there was so much grease coming out, I’m not complaining

The cheese is never centered. It's always half off the bun on the box.

That is why i never order it in a box. I ask it to be wrapped in paper. The bun is steamed and not dried out, and the fish and cheese are centered. Same with QP and Big Mac... order them all wrapped.

Delicious. I've been eating these for almost a half century, but they're getting so small, they could be called Fillet O' Sliders.

The steamed bun is so perfect each time, coupled with the tartar sauce and texture of the pattie. I have asked them to use that steamed bun on a quarter pounder with cheese and it was pretty darn good. Changed the entire texture of that burger.

It's underrated and is so good especially when fresh

Popeye's recently came up with a fish sandwich that reminds me of the one McDonald's make decades ago. Huge and better tasting.

I love the Filet o fish!! It's wonderful tasting and very satisfying!!♥️

I do like McDonald's Filet-O-Fish. However, White Castle 🏰 has a boneless Alaskan cod with a light panko seasoning. The fish is flaky and crunchy, sitting on a nice slider bun. Great fish 🐟 slider! Delicious! 😋😋😋😋😋👌

The last old meat I ate at Crapdonalds was at 8 years old. I'm 65 now. But that filet...the best!

FOF is absolutely the best!

Yeah I think it’s an amazing sandwich. I worked at McDo for 5 years. The Filet-O-Fish had it’s own fryer and bun steamer. Fun fact: we could put the styrofoam clamshell containers in the steamer and make “shrinky dinks”! We made keychains out of them. I wish I still had those.

Was my grandfather's favorite Friday night meal

When I worked there in the late '70s and went on break I would toast (carmelize) the buns put a full slice of cheese and ketchup 👍🏻

i always thought it was a unpopular item because everyone tells me they hate fish. but i love it.

I think it's the tartar sauce that makes the big difference with McDonald's fish sandwiches.

2 for $4 in 2010 2 for $5 in 2015 Mix n Match 2 for $6 2021. Not sure if NYC or McD's, but the only consistent part of these sandwiches is rising prices and that they are half the fish of BK or Wendy's. FiletOFish is tasty though

When I worked at McDonald’s as a cook in 1977-79 ,the food was amazing. Filet of fish was fried in oil ,that was fish only ,the buns were in a steamer .fell in love with the filet of fish ,and Big Mac always hot and juicy,now they both are dry and Luke warm at best !

I would love to go back and eat at mcdobalds in the 80s and 90s again. Totally different experience. Where has the flavor gone?! Its bizarre.

I ate this sandwich today.It did taste good fish was fresh.

The Tartar Sauce is made with DILL pickle relish - that's what does it for me!

my mother buys me this and it kinda grew on me

My parents won't let me try burgers because this si the second time going out of our house from lockdown so I will just stick with the classic burger selections

Its my personal favorite at McDs. The saturated fat and calorie content dips if you scrape the bulk of the tartar sauce off, leaving enough for flavor as it can be quite overwhelming.

I’ve been eating McDonald’s my whole life and never tried the fillet fish until today fucking loved it

Getting the fish is a gamble. Too many times, including today I got a fish that was the color of last falls leaves that had wintered in the back yard. Dark brown, dried out, and funky taste. Today I hit one that had been really good for fresh food-at the very start of lunch with lots of cars in the lot so should have been a slam dunk. Nope, fish brown, fries stale lukewarm and funky taste too. With as much as stuff costs anymore make some effort to time how far out you make food. Took a bite of fries and fish- then tossed in trash. At least the drink was ok.

It's my fav McD burger. More than half of my purchase there is Filet-O-Fish

Pescetarians would love this I mean Idk if they like it but if you don't I emcourage you try it a few times just to taste the fresh one or go to a different junk food shop

The filet o fish in my area is the most expensive item on the menu. Also it apparently is the most hated item for employees to make. EG they won't make it past a certain time point.
