God Created us, we sinned (lying, stealing, adultery, and hate) and deserve hell because God punishes sin. But God, in his love sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and whoever turns from sin and believes in Jesus will not perish but have life after death.

I call it the power of synonims ❤️😂👍) !!! 🕊️❤️😇 Also, the bible project is not only for those who are raised in church (of which i am not a part). So would most new people know that heaven means everything above the earth??? 😅 By just saying skies they remove the possible confusion. I would say a good choice! 🕊️❤️😇

I definitely cried watching this too because I’ve read THIS chapter MANY times, but I never understood it in this way. It all hit so home for me because I truly am realizing that we must all go through the beatitudes honestly, otherwise how will God know we deserve the blessings that are rewarded from the beatitudes? This world can get so overwhelming & I truly admire Jesus’s attitude through it all, seriously

You do not have to do anything to be loved by God. He loved us, even when we rebelled against Him... His love is what makes turning from this rebellion even possible. And it's already a big celebration in heaven. Just because you finally wanna love Him back and spread this love!!! 🕊️❤️😇 It's no question about worth. It's a question about what you want. Do you want the same as the one who has the best in mind for you and everyone else. If we follow His plan, it might be others will follow the one true love as well!!! 🕊️❤️😇 And in the end, those who wanna proof themselves to God will always fall short. It's there own words that will keep them away, from the one true love... 😓 *P.S. it's also love that drives the justice of God. For how would you be if you saw the humans you made and love. To see the specifics of who Jesus was talking to...bringing the textures of the story...made me cry...it is why we need the theologians in our churches as Michael Heiser once said...the textures of the context..texturizes our perceptions..and in turn texturizes our love...I love you guys...blssings to you...for you constantly bless me

I memorized the Sermon on the Mount when I was 13 (I have a very patient mom). Rarely have I heard anyone deal with this incredible piece of literature in anything more than a sound bite section. I am so excited to discover with you guys even more than I’d already seen and share this delight in Jesus’s thinking with so many others. I’m loving the art styles so much too. I can’t imagine it better than what you guys are producing. Thank you!

I just completely LOVE the art style behind this series. That tactile art style representing the physical world, with that near-surrealist style (which feels very similar in appearance to the Spiritual Beings series) representing Christ message to the people of the physical world. As an aspiring animator and as an individual trying to grow in his faith, this series is really inspiring to me!

This series has so far been very insightful and eye opening using very well known bible text to really deepen our understanding of Jesus and His message. Thank you!

I just want to say my sincerest Thank You to Bible Project for this amazing work. You see, when you’ve read and heard passages of the bible for more than a few times, it breeds FAMILIARITY. But these visuals help us see the SERMON on a different light and a fresher persepctive. The overall output is so fluid and beautifully done! 🎉 Seriously! Because of the excellent work that you do, I am now more inspired to do God’s calling for me excellently as well in this current season of my life! The God we serve is author of excellence and completion, He finishes what He started, and He finishes it beautifully and “good”! And the work that you do shows how God has been working in all of you and through all of you, and it is so evident on how excellent this output is. God chooses to partner with us because of what Jesus has done. Restoring our relationship to the Father and giving us God the Holy Spirit to guide us in what Jesus taught. Jesus was not kidding when he said this to this crowd. I am sure many of them went off to become the church. The church was initially made up of the poor. They changed the known world. There internal change was played out causing a revolution. At present the third world is becoming evangelist to the first world. We are so fortunate to be part of God's Kingdom at times I do not think we understand that we need to be light and to speak light into all that we do.

This channel has forever transformed my view of the human condition, the effects of sin on the human heart, the meaning of the sacrifice and resurrection of Yeshua Messiah, how doubled sided our spirit is (having the choice to do good or evil), and more! I remember praying long before coming across this page about wanting to learn more about Yahweh, the God I was blindly serving. I didn't question my Christian beliefs because I grew up in it and it brought me much comfort in times of great distress I knew the basics of Christianity but never this much in depth. I knew Yahweh was my spiritual father, but my faith in him was small and unnurtured. Belief in Him wasn't enough to keep me in the faith, I had to know more about who He is and what He wanted with me. I can't thank you guys enough for opening my eyes!
