I dont really mean this to be disrespectful but if the guy really is top 500, it highlights just how important having a mercy pocket is as an echo player. Maybe I'm just being a hater, but to me this just look like regular platinum/diamond gameplay with a pocket.

It gets sooo much harder in GM and Top500. Jakes mechanics here are absolutely on Point the whole game. The predictions in his aim, as well as the tracking with the beam. But really its how he controls the engagement that really makes this an insane Gameplay. In Plat/Diamond people cant aim nowhere near as good as in Gm/Top500 so you can get away with much more mistakes than here.

Yea, we all think abt what we'd do with a Mercy pocket but the fact is that a Mercy pocket can't carry you to top 500, but when you're top 500 ofc a Mercy pocket is going to optimize you

Every time I look at the comments, it’s just dudes from console or in master ranks hating on top 500 players because they have a “mercy pocket”. She even got nerfed which is the funny part. Y’all need to ask Jay3 or something for PC vs Console because I for sure want to see yall on that shit ngl

I play on console, I main Genji and the highest rank I've ever achieved on comp by myself was master 2. If I had a POCKET like this guy's, I'm sure I'd make it to Top 500 as well 🤣 The video should be called "This is what a top 500 Echo being pocketed by Mercy looks like". Call me a hater, but this looks like pretty mediocre gameplay/skill. 5:03 He goes "Nano me now", gets nano'd and then proceeds to miss ALMOST ALL of his shots on an EASY Ana, then dies lol.

got some news for you, Masters console is the equivalent to gold/plat PC, and top 500 is the equivalent to high diamond/low masters PC. so no, you wouldn't be reaching his skill level is what you're implying. oh and the enemy he'd be facing are going to be more skilled players than you'll ever come across. Every one of them is going to have insane mechanical skills, positioning and teamwork. Keep that in mind. Again you'll never see it close to that on top 500 console. another mad console kid with skill issues

I'm just saying the skill levels are very different on the two, mouse just has a higher skill ceiling, we all know that. that's why literally people in top 10 all use Xims to cheat with MnK with aim assist. but this dude is the one with a big ego saying he'd be top 500 too like Jake if he had a pocket. Jake isn't in top 500 because he has a pocket, he's in top 500 because he's bloody good at the game. the pocket is well used because he's good.

Bro pocket mercy doesn't take much skill to get high damage and elims

Unlike Hanzo that needs good aim or Genji that has super fast ninja-like moments, playing Echo doesn't look as cool, so maybe you guys think it's not as skillful. But Echo is more ability-reliant than other heroes (which is a trait hard to see) but this guy has a good track over his colddowns. Plus the fact that he's a Top 500. Maybe you will figure it out when you play Echo

Mega boring another flying hero with a constant pocket. Boring to play. Even boring to play against. This is the issue with the system. Other team just need to go mercy and pocket the dps easy counter but they don’t. Stuck hoping u get healers or a team with the knowledge how to counter pick. Anyways anther boring ass flying pocketed hero turned off after 2 mins
