Isaiah Land He's also having to hit from quite a shallow angle. Square-on, it might do better. Black-tip 7.62x51mm or .30-06 *would* do better. The way to take someone out in one of these vehicles with a rifle would be to catch him stuck in traffic at the road works and shoot through the side window from close quarters or downwards through the windscreen from an elevated position like a rooftop, balcony or disused apartment. Obviously, they're not marketing the vehicle as a Sphere Of Invulnerability, though. It's meant to *improve your chances* of surviving an attack. You still need to watch for ambushers, watch for boxes, keep your manouevring spaces open and be ready to GTFO in one direction or another and, y'know, not drive onto any anti-tank mines. There's an amusing possibility here: that an attacker will try to shoot through the side-windows from close quarters, with an SMG. As shown in a video somewere on youtube, laminated plastic windows will absorb the first several pistol bullets ... then they start bouncing them back at the shooter, making that attacker more likely to hit *himself* than to get through to the driver!
