@@prodiG69420 I was born in Korea (near Daegu in a small "city"). Yes, Korea has some really rough areas, especially Daegu, but now that I've lived in the states and European countries, I can definitely say that Korea is a breath of fresh air in comparison to other countries. In terms of work koreans take their work very serious and it's a lot different, and the poverty is not bad at all, when looking at other countries. When I visited Japan I was in some really "not so nice" areas too (even in Tokyo). It's normal considering the fact that living in Japan and even in Korea is extremely expensive, so Japan does have problems when it comes to that. My brother had told me to completely stay away from certain areas in Japan, since they were just really run down and there are actually a ton of people that have to shop at markets because they can't afford stuff from stores. Japan and Korea both have their individual issues, but they are both very beautiful countries and South Korea will always be my home and culture.

You forgot my personal faves-Showers, athlets foot if your lucky, and bonus if somehow you stop to get thag questionable grey tinged egg salad sandwich and weirdly blushing pink tuna salad sandwiches that are NOT even freshly made That day at That location for that matter!!! Those are plastic packaged and count as the mystifying ecoli-in-a-bag Surprise!! The combination of any of the above, is if you end up being also the free staph infection, a mystery rash, and that athletes foot mentioned earlier!! All under one locations freebies&bonuses!!! Yeah, our gas stop locations are big on that kind of gambling kinds of Russian Roulette. The bonus special that one can count on is if you picked the items that somone elses obnoxiously uncontrolled rabid children thatd stopped at that gas station earlier too who had coughed and/or sneezed on the poorly uncovered foods but didnt buy and put back for you to in turn picked out and buy- not that it mattered, because of lack of choices available.🤔 Let us not forget that you also have the Male, and Female LOT LIZZARDS propositioning you to be " "fully serviced" and whom are the opitome of a walking mystery bag in themselves and whatever good news that could give you free of charge after one paid for that full servicing!!! Yeah. Our gas stops are all about the mystery freebies & side effects that be made available to any and all those traveling between point A to point B all acrossed America!!! Whats Not to love ?!!??

@@ginamoten2285 tldr: my point is that some people are delusional regarding that matter and building up non existent expectations of absolutely unrealistic standards. Never said yall can't appreciate pretty things. Sure, go ahead idm because honestly I do too. What I do not like however is people being delusional about certain countries situations etc. Literally, a once close friend of mine told me that "Korea has the prettiest people, all Japanese are ugly and Chinese don't have chins." I asked her why and she replied "Because all people in Kdrama look like that. All Artists and Authors of Mangas look like that. I've seen a few Chinese people with no jawline, like you" (yes, I have a really soft face shape, I like it tho.) Like some people literally go around thinking that Japan and Korea are all beauty and sparkles as following comment says while absolutely disregarding and ignoring the fact that media only shows us the good side of things if it's about shows, kdrama, whatever. And that snowballs into people having insane expectations of, for example, looks and face when it comes to beauty. Yes, pale skin is a beauty standard in a lot of eastern Asian countries. And many people for some reason believe that most Eastern Asian people are born with that porcelain skin which just is not true - most Eastern Asian are blessed with somewhat darker, gold toned skin - which is not bad. Only some have pale skin, others use the MAGIC OF MAKEUP WHICH IS A WHOLE NOTHER TOPIC blablabla idek where I am right now also another thing I'm salty about which doesn't have much to do with this is that a lot of the same people who now glorify eastern Asian ppl used to be the ones mocking us for our eye shape, food, culture, etc. very funny. very, very funny.

Gas stations in America serve food poisoning. Everyone knows you never eat the hotdogs unless it's your only option and it never is. So just don't eat food that was cooked at the gas station. Unless it's like Casey's and in that case their food is pretty good. There pizza and doughnuts and coffee and other baked goods so🤷🏻‍♀️

Gas stops in the US (or at the very least, in AZ) are so boring compared to this. We also have hot food, but it is usually on something called a "roller grill." Basically, every morning, hot dogs, bratwurst, and these toquito thingies are put on the grill and then they are left there until the next day. The only time they are good is up to 2 hours of being on the grill. Like every gas stop anyone has ever been to, there are shelves that have chips and candy, sometimes toys, too. But the ones I have been to even stuff like pet food, instant ramen, dehydrated meals for 1, car accessories, and other stuff that I can't think of rn. There are also refrigerated foods like sandwiches, salads, parfaits sometimes, and like string cheese. I don't like the salads tho cuz they're always wilted and boring. As for the drinks, there is a pretty good selection usually. There is water, obviously, sports drinks, soda, juice, and alcohol usually. There are also soda fountains which are these machines that have sever nozels at the bottom and each one dispenses a different soda. I'm sure they're in Korea, too. Probably not the cup sizes tho lmao, I never get the largest one. Its like 50oz or something like that. I usually get 20oz if I get soda, but usually I just get tea or Gatorade
