It's just a pity you didn't get allowed in to Somaliland.I was there in May 2019 in Hargeisha and had a wonderful experience except in Berbera I wasn't allowed to take pictures they thought I was a journalist but I got a few pics from the place.The beach was also nice it was so hot the water was so warm I had to swim with a long dress but I didn't mind that.We couldn't go back to Hargeisha that night it was raining so bad we stayed back in Berbera at Damal Hotel it was quite fine and very comfortable room.I had time to visit 2 restaurants Sultan and PFC Garden.The food was really good especially that pizza at PFC really yummy 😋 It was really a wonderful experience I hope you get allowed in next time and I'm sure you will enjoy it.May God bless you everywhere you go and thank you for always sharing your wonderful journeys and experiences with us ♥

I had no problems entering the country as a German. (02/2023). I was in Berbera, Hargeisa, Ceerigaaboo, Maydh and Burco. If you need some help oder advise just ask me. I can help. I had a wonderful guide and brilliant time in somaliland. Somali people are so kind and friendly. Try it again. it´s worth it.

Your somali deh obviously it's not the same you can come with any passport in the world and land at bosaso, Kismayo, Mogadishu, Berbera or wherever you want. Obviously if you want to buy land or open business and it's not your people's land you'll need local permission but for visiting to meet friends, family ect no one can or will stop you from jigjiga, garissa, burco to galkacyo

@@jameskingston3058 i am not sure...but i have heard on travel channels that authorities in Somalia are wary of you travelling to their country if you first travel to the country of Somaliland...somaliland is not recognized as a country by many nations, but it is alive and well after over 30 years. There are political tensions between Somalia and Somaliland. But Somaliland is far more peaceful of a place, without the war and disruptions that Somalia has. This is my understanding. Salam Alekem

Somaliland is one of the most peaceful countries in the world, if not the first country in the world in terms of peace, stability, prosperity & development. I visited Somaliland last year, and yes, it is much better than the rest of Somalia, but what is the threshold for such a change? There is a need to eradicate the mentality and extreme Wahhabi religion of Somalis that has nearly hijacked the entire culture. In addition to persecuting Somal atheists, Ex Muslims, and Christian converts, the political landscape is drowned in qabalism, and is heavily tribalistic, and as we drove past Muse's residence, one of his guards shot a man who was playing loud AfroBeat music in his car. Don't spread false information and instead focus on improving rather than painting red roses for something that is still 30-40 years from being equal to countries such as Ghana, Rwanda, Zambia, etc.

This is not somalia but Republic of somaliland...you need a visa too if not you will kicked out too 😉 regardless of common language we speak .. this country belongs to somaliland and even you will be rejected at airports or any of borders .. coming out with a joke they kicked out from federal somalia .. when you came to somaliland you are foreigner too ..

@R M what region lol 😆 I will just take a minute of my time to educate you .... somaliland was a independent country 26 June 1960 and joined voluntary somalia 1 July after they got there indendence from Italy.. our dream was to unite all somali speaking people 5 regions Djibouti.. somaliland.. nfd kenya .. and somalis in Ethiopia.. we reliased that we made a huge mistake and viva to Djibouti for not joining that ... from day one we regretted joining that union .. after almost 13 years of our struggle to get our country back we finally deated that union even though our cities was raised to ground we rebuild our country from zero ... let be me plain with somaliland was a country before Somalia... today we have strong economy peaceful country without international countries telling us what to do ... we are a country and your country is awash with amison protecting your parliament your president... viva my Republic somaliland..

There is no a country called Somaliland bro it is an autonomous region in Somalia take care of your words it is Somalia's autonomous territory.
