Highlight of the trip, the people...All over the Philippines the same. As an American I find the people of the Philippines to be the sweetest, friendliest, most hospitable people I've ever met. They are so nice that I married one.

I have watched some of your videos, good Flilipino touch, Ruby , Your videos quite organic with Filipino flavour. By now your viewership would have touched some milestone,God bless. I am from India, long desire to visit Phillipines, India is equally beautiful,with Asian way of life. Been to Cambodia ,Thailand etc

Hi Rubeauti I am at Kalibo Aklan right now staying for Christmas and new year with my wife's family. Enjoying and relaxing. Also been to cold springs at Nabas very nice and a few other local attractions. Spent a few days in Capiz province at sister in laws house . After watching your video I want to go to Siquijor

Yes pls! Go to Bohol first. Stay there for few days you might like it too and then head to Siquijor from there.

Are the beaches ⛱️ sandy? It looks like it in the beginning of this. There was one that looks rocky, where you stopped for food. This island resort is beautiful! I wish I went to this island when I was in Cebu.

Hello, Andri! I am JPERPETUALKID living in the island. Salagdoong Beach was finally opened to all water activities sometime in October 2023. I believed they closed it during pandemic for renovation. However, if it's LOW TIDE, cliff diving/jumping is NOT allowed since rocks and corals await you once you're down. :) Hope you can #VisitSiquijor2024 soon. My only concern is there is the medical service in Siquijor.

That is a widespread legend "Siquijor 'Witch' Island" I come from New England, America, home of "Salem the Witch" City Massachusetts, where in the late 1600s dozens of "witches" were burned to death. The story the girl told me was that a "witch" touches you on the shoulder and then you imagine that you are walking a long distance, but in reality--you come to your senses and realize you haven't walked a step, you are in the same place. I can't wait to move to Siquijor, it looks like paradise on earth. Please share any stories you have. Thanks and God bless!
