bro, explain the one at 2:20 please, how did that get in the top 100 ? Edit: Ok nevermind, i've seen the entire video and some are worse. I mean no disrespect, i can't even do what they do. I'm asking out of curiosity because there's a big disparity between the levels shown in the video, wich is okay, but being top 100 of almost 3000 i expected a high quality (wich 95% of those are). But if that beginner-amateur 5% has gotten into it, means either there was irregularities in the selection process, or the remaining 2700ish of them are entry level stuff or worse. I don't know how to better express myself in english, so i guess i'm sounding like an asshole anyways.

@@aenaros6845 Hey dude, I 100% get you. There are some I saw people do on KZread that I personally felt deserved to be in top 100, but didn't make it. The judging isn't perfect, and that's just a fact, only a few people not getting payed looking for 2000+ videos takes a lot. But also, the judging is based on multiple factors, not just about bring realistic, but creativity, movement, particles, scenes, and so on. It's okay dude, the main goal isn't about winning, it's about growing

Something I wanted to do as a joke for the breakdown video was make the intro like a Let's Play stream, cut to the renders, then cut back to the "stream" and play it off like I failed that level multiple times. But I ran out of time/motivation @@sourlab

I love the blue particles flying at the screen and the fact the symbols on the wall are rotating the colors work so well together you did such a great job

30:40 is me! I had a lot of fun in this challenge and learned a LOT. Never really animated before, especially not multiple characters, and getting that to work with the simulations and in slowmotion was definitely a challenge. Excited for the next one!

I love that it’s blurred and then comes into focus and then the people are in focus and become blurred sooo cool and it must have been hell to get all of the shadows/lights right I love this piece

02:39:24 My submission is here! It was my first experience using characters and animations I created by myself, and even though I didn't make it to the Top 100, just participating was so much fun. I sincerely congratulate the winners who made it to the Top 100. To be honest, they were all so incredibly talented that rankings don't seem to matter at all. No matter which work is in first place, I would believe in all of them. I love that all artists have their own universe in their art. Considering there are around 3,000 entries in total, I personally think there should be a Top 300...lol. I hope more people become interested in this challenge and the CG art industry. Respect to all the artists involved. 🤩

haha nice! Found mine on 38:34, wanted to jump into top100 but no luck this time. I see many renders looking way better than some of the chosen top100 but yep, it's a subjective judgement based on personal preferences so no offence. Thanks for your work on organization and management of this challenge @pwnisher ! I'd like to try myself in the next challenge for sure.

The storm going in the background, the fire going, the trees rustling, showing the impact his foot is making wow. You did amazing! Plus the design of the big guy is sooo cool seeing his heart through his chest plus glowing green eyes love love love this one

Been a longtime follower and I'm not a 3D artist by any means, but this is my favorite channel and series because of these challenges. So relaxing to watch the creativity from this! Keep it up 😁

I have no idea how he managed to select the top 100, honestly major props because there were so many incredible renders. I never would have been able to come to a final 100. Hell even a top 200 would have been difficult. The people who submitted these renders are insanely talented 😮

Found me at 2:24:44 Thanks for another challenge! Hope to make top 100 next time around. Anyone with constructive criticism please let me know! I do think I went a little heavy on the color correction, so I won't be doing that so much next time.

3.5 hours of awesome animations with cool music! That is so good. It's awesome to see all this animations and to all creators I want to say: You are awesome guys, keep going!

2:03:54 is my render! A few days before this i had just done the donut tutorial but i couldn't pass up the opportunity to join this compertition. I had so much fun and learnt a lot about blender. Congrats to everyone who participated, all your renders are amazing!
