5:50 I really like the fact that the charge killed models on impact instead of throwing the units around only for them to get back up again. I know it's a bug, but it was great.

All that brand new shiny firepower don't mean jack if your front lines can't protect it from the charge factions. Lot of Empire lovers going to be fuming when they watch those gun lines shatter from heavy cav and chariot charges.

As it should be. Empire definitely has tools for holding off charge factions, you just have to make sure you're covering all bases.

@@kapitankapital6580 That's always been the empire playstyle, they are a balanced, combined arms faction. You will lose against a competent opponent if you lean too hard into the skew.

I know it's a petty complaint, but Taurox still not having access to Khorne minotaurs bothers me.

It looks like minotaurs now have their faction color correctly apply to their model. I remember a few units in the beastmen suffering from this problem before, hope its fixed for all of them.

LAZOR attack is for big monsters and single entities. It is a waste vs chaff. 2 lasers kill the ennemy lord basically... AND she has DEATH MAGIC. This lady is bonkers op at sniping.

Honestly that minotaur bug with some polish would be an AMAZING effect on some demonic creatures.

Bruckner seemed to do pretty good in this video? Sure, he didn't really get much gold value, but he distracted taurox a bunch. Plus, without his 3k death fire the ghorgon wouldn't have routed at the end.

That video title sounds like AoS lore drop lol (btw rip BoC).

The only dodge I've seen on Elsbeth's breath attack is a gobbo on a squiq hopper.

I haven't gotten it in game myself yet but the minotaur visual glitching was in one of the pre-release campaigns I watched. I think it was RuinousInsight's Tamurkhan but it might have been something from Monstersabound.

Elspeth is a lot of fun in campaign. The long and short victory are extremely underwhelmingly easy, however if you turn on ultimate end times and all factions (with diplo is probably a good idea) and follow the "be war with nobody" goal, you're set for an epic campaign Edit: Did mine on VH, with only a slight boost to AI in battles (I think it affects auto resolve too? Which can be tiresome. At least the stat boosts). So it should be fun even if you've played a few campaigns before. At one point I had a naval invasion from the Black Pyramid into Myrmidens, I went out at see to meet what I thought was 2 or 3 armies, it ended up being 6 or 7 and a lot of manual battles there 😂 The same thing happened after taking revenge against the Chaos Dwarves, set up a base in the mountains near Cathay. Went south to clean up, saw 1 greenskin army, went to clean up. Saw 7 (!!!) more, spammed backspace, had to REALLY min max both movement and stances and manual battles and AI turn vs my turn, to save that army lol (I did not kill all their armies with that army, no way, they also had Waaagh! and it was not my main army, I got to kill 3 or so and then they brought 2-3 more armies in) Also no idea how they were so hidden. Had Outrider + Vagabond + Ferrymaster (always keep them on one hero in the army) The new Master Engineer lords are also nice and to be honest should be better for ALL armies, playing Wissenland & Nuln. I kept confederated lords and Empire Camptains (mostly due to lvl) and only realized later how absolutely amazing Master Engineers are for gunpowder armies. (They also get extra movement in addition to route marcher!!!)

This entire game goes to the Ghorgon, that thing got into the empire and just made Khorne proud.

Yea I do wish there was maybe like 5 seconds after a battle ends before the thingy shows up

Love that Warhammer is back on the Menu! CA needs to keep on this track and the community will be with em till the End Times!

that elspeth kamehameha is INSANE

If anybody with those glitchy models like those Minotaurs sees this, usually verifying your game files will fix it. Have had it happen in updates in the past for Warhammer 2 and 3. Usually caused by a corrupted file.

I wish the other Dragons Breath attacks were unique like this one

I would really like to see 2v2 battles, where both take the same faction but they have different roles in controlling the army. It's a shame with the battles to only see a single centre piece when you have such cool models!

Am I the only one to turn my camera around and play from the perspective of the other side? Not only does that prevent sneaky backstab, but I also feel more in control that way.

Does her breath attack beefit from that scaling spell mastery ability? It IS classified as a magic missile. Curious if it does literally double damage at the end of the battle vs the beginning.

The option to buy separately is awesome. I’m a huge 40k fan but love strategy games so I play total war. I’m a huge fan of Nurgle ams chaos as well as the skaven and lizard men. I just don’t like everything? Lots of DLC I bought gave me access to things I don’t necessarily care to play. The ability to buy what you want instead of a pack is awesome and I’ll happily be picking up the Nurgle side of the pack and not have to shell out extra money cause I don’t necessarily enjoy dwarf or empire playstyle

Fate of Bjuna should probably be replaced with another spell because I don't know anybody that actually likes it. It could be interesting if they pulled Death's Door from WHFRPG, it is a fun buff that prevents the target from dying. Could be some interesting synergy for tolls and the like.

thats a bit weird if you're in the same city and both have decent internet, but TW does not have good mp infrastructure. unfortunately i dont really have tips to mitigate the issue. i've had similar issues with people from the UK, but I live East coast US so its not as surprising

its called Heart of the Dark, its in your map pool, no mods. was first introduced in wh2 with Silence and Fury/taurox

I get beastmen are kind of the comic relief faction. The redheaded stepchild GW have mistreated for ages. But the idea of them is cool. Fragile but adept hunters and expert ambushers. Hit fast, hit hard, hit from all sides. Who needs fancy armor wjen you're an apex predator?

They’re actually really good in this game, probably some of the most underrated lords is Malagor. I use to play them when I know someone was gonna do ranged because they excel at closing the distance.

If Ghorros Warhoof is anything to go by I would think he probably does cheat on his wife.

jesus 70% of taurox health for something you cannot dodge seems pretty steep, that's kind of ridiculous. Damn Elspeth's abilities just carried that, I mean, sniping taurox like that with one hit from flying is way too much, but something has to make the pricetag worth it I guess

Not sure where you got the 70%, but ok... I think the dmg is okay, but it should be dodgeable at least a little bit... But at the same time, normal breath attacks are so bad at hitting SEs that maybe it's not really possible to make it effective and not undodgeable...

no, fixes to a system like that will come in first hotfix/patch after launch. im 84 turns into Ungrim campaign, the Age of Reckoning issues are annoying for confederating Thorgrim and the requirements/grudge resolution rate gets a bit silly later on. But its still been a very fun campaign, hasn't dramatically impacted my experience

it may be a file corruption issue but i dont think its a performance/hardware problem. temps look fine and not having issues with any other unit or any other game. its just Beastmen minotaurs on this particular playtest. loaded a bunch of separate battles to test it out. hopefully wont be an issue with the main build launching today

@@milkandcookiesTW maybe try a GPU stress test, if that reveals no problems I agree you can rule out hardware. I used to see this exact "exploded geometry" when running 3dmark on an aggressive overclock.

​​@@Wes1013 nah that's just a warhammer thing which happens. It's also really common if you got some texture mod conflicts only then it's a way worse version where the corpses just start taking up the entire screen with flickering triangles.

⁠ Yessir, so I followed the link. And clicked Steam, went to the card page and used Apple Cash. It then charged my card for 35 cents with no warning, and asked how much they charged it for. I answered 35 cents and that was correct. They did not return the 35 cents, and now the card can’t complete a purchase because of insufficient funds. Honestly good. Im not a pvp player i only watch but its so easy for us singleplayer nerds to buff things via mods that I'd rather have ca keep things balanced for the mp guys.
