Skarbrand alone can murderize a shit ton of units, add in some Skullcrushers and you become a god.

khorne makes most of their money from post battle loot and sacking settlements so you're supposed to always have negative balance

also you wanna keep your blood hosts around until you can't possibly fight with them anymore and/or they have so little blood meter they give you negative growth. Because these little armies are the only reason to get any significant growth with Big boy Skarbrand

yup, 1 lvl 5 settlement is all you need. khorne is not about building up provinces, its about destroying it.

They took WH2 Taurox The Brass Bull and injected him with steroids and thats how you got Skarbrands campaign mechanics. That and Skarbrand himself is probably the third strongest Legendary Lord in the entire game and doesn’t really even need the army past a certain point.

The funniest part is, he's so strong devs had to nerf him and he still can get short campain victory by like turn 20 if optimal. Easily second strongest faction in TWW3 for fast campains.

“They can’t even afford pots for all of them” broke me Frankly, the best part of about this was the Ogre Bulls who were along for the ride the whole time

I never worry about my economy when I play Skarbrand. I use overwhelming force and aggression to raze all of the map. I only take capital settlements and only let my blood hosts do it so Skarbrand can continue killing. Once he gets the sword of Khaine, he wins.

you dont even need to take settlements aside from capital ones cause theres a chance each turn you autoclaim them after you raise them

@@DimitriHellas That's what he said. He meant that he let bloodhost army take the settlements so they take the "no more movement penalty" that comes after taking a settlement. So Skarbrand can keep the murder train going.

Absolutely stellar idea.

He *did not* just play the SOT OST

I believe somebody completed the RoC campaign as Khorne, by which I mean wiped out all other players, in 12 turns. Because of this, they actually nerfed khorne's movement range buffs some time ago, so note that this is post-nerf.

This was a very good location for it, and the sheer number of enemy armies also made it even better haha. Still though, I'm sure you can get pretty similar results anywhere as long as you're dealing with a large number of armies/settlements

I think there was a bug at the start of the game with Skarbrand for infinite movement.

@@etuanno One stance could be entered with a certain amount of movement (I think it was ambush stance?), but when swapping back to the default movement stance, some movement would be recovered. It was probably due to increased movement range - adopting the stance is based on movement points, then leaving it probably gave a % of total movement back, so they'd get some movement points if entered at near the minimum points amount needed.

The Green Tide very quickly turned into the Red Tide with how easily Skarbrand turned into the biggest threat, by fucking nyooming his way across the map battle to battle

The mod, sandbox initiated, also randomizes ALL unit stats across the game, and it customizable. Would make for a really fun series to watch/play!

@@netn1917 I'm not so sure, I have never played Warhammer 3, but it seems some modifier stacking allowed him to gain action after a win and a huge movement range bonus, so he kept attacking to gain action. I think...

​​​@@kaballfsSkarbrand's armies get extra movement after winning a battle and get extra movement after razing a settlement, and spawning a Blood Host is a type of razing. He's all about roleplaying as a murder-train with no brakes, you're meant to just keep killing, moving on, killing, moving on and so on using that mechanic of his.

Skarbrand is easily the most perfect for randomized starting positions

I’d love to see another randomized campaign, I think it would be cool to see someone really niche get thrown into a new situation where they might thrive

Goddamn the classic Skarbrand campaign. Honestly antsy about them making a new Khorne lord at some point because they'd either have to make Skarbrand less strong (a crime, tbh), or they'd have to make another absurd powerhouse. Good content as always though

You should totally make this a series, I would love to see multiple iterations of this randomized xampaigns

You know what is missing ? Random starting hero (inclueding those from other race) and when you get the level, random quest for purple item instead of yours. Would be so cool

Whenever I play Skarbrand I almost never get bloodhost cuz they would bankrupt me 😅

Honestly, if you can get a good sack with each of them, they pay for themselves. The buffs to post-battle loot can get crazy enough to cover it too. The more hyperaggresive your playstyle, the better you'll do with him, as winning fights is way easier before the enemy recruits good units

ur playing it wrong, u should get blood hosts constantly, who cares about ur income? u can just generate armies out of nothing, you dont need money, you will get money from warfare

Azhag coming in with a giant army and sacking the empire is pretty more accurate

I had never considered a randomized start position mod, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

This is an awesome idea and I loved the video. Would love to see you do more of these. It keeps the content interesting and not as predictable.

Most recent khorne campaign was a massive snowball. Got wurrzags defeat trait early then got super lucky with a cult by sigvald so I had 40% physical resist by turn 12 or something dumb. He’s easily my favorite lord

3:40 watching Skarbrand plow through skeletons with the Skyrim dragon theme in the background was something I didn’t know I needed

Just found your channel, loving it. Remember, it isnt skarrbrand campaign without losing 10k+ favor per turn, while taking 5 settlements per turn with 1 army.

As one of my favorite series did as a quote "SKARBRAND DOES NOT APPRECIATE PHYSICAL CONTACT"

We need random units with random recruitment times with our random lords from random factions

Its amazing how ridiculous Skarbrand is, and you didn't even use his special weapon, which makes him an absolute god.

With Khorne Ascending on the Great Game and Eternal War + Some levels in Skarbrand, you do hit the point where the only thing stopping you from razing and sacking more is your army hp. Unless you have all the regen on Skarbrand + Unbreakable, then its just watching Skarbrand eat entire armies and settlements until you get bored.

Love the Divinity music. It's such a good OST

yeah economy doesn't matter when playing as khorne. you can fuel all your armies by killing shit. now that's the khorne way of doing things I'd like to see more randomised campaigns
