This is so conflicting for me because I don't want to get the DLC which give CA money that is not even going to the game the DLC if for with its overpricing but the Changeling looks so fun to play

@@cheesysealAnon I personally got it, despite the negative press around it. I trust the community enough to make CA hurt for money, and I get my money's worth out of the DLC in the meantime. I do disapprove of CA, but I don't have the willpower or drive to participate in any drama.

that part where he's one step away from taking the hell pit and completing his scheme but then simply leaves to go fuck around in the dark lands is SO in character for tzeentch that it's hilarious

Things to note, changeling campaign is essentially impossible to lose no matter the difficulty setting. AIs will never find your trickster cults and they will never be lost. Secondly, changeling morphs into other basic lords only. You can become basic Skarbrand, basic Karl Franz, etc.

@@user-kj5yc4xc3y Some Legendary Lords have personal quests that, when completed, give them a massive stat buff and change their model. The Changeling doesn't have access to these, even if you let the AI lords live long enough to unlock them.

True, however. Skarbrand, and most Slaaneshi lords [Azazel, N'kari, for instance] benefit extremely heavily from the Changeling's +40 armour to the point that azazel might well be the second strongest form in the game, and chainsword functions much like Skarbrand's axes would do, only better the longer it goes, but worse at first

I love exalted pink horrors I know they're not optimal but something about having small elite armies just makes me happy plus their ability increses mana recharge which makes them a useful auxiliary unit in every army with a spellcaster which in the case of tzeench is literally every army

I use a mod that lets you upgrade your units as they gain ranks, kinda like Chaos Warriors. So Pink Horrors can upgrade into exalted pink horrors over time. So you recruit the 1 turn regulars, and then upgrade them later. And you don't have to disband units when you want to upgrade.

@@shorewall I genuinely think that the Warband mod should become a basegame feature. Being able to upgrade units makes a campaign so much more fluid and also incentivises keeping units alive for more than just the small rank bonuses.

As a person who dont see alot of warhammer I didnt know these guys were a thing

the best bit is, now this is possible because the changeling is technically tzeentch's favourite horror

Helps that the tricksters army is stealthed whenever in the territories that your cults are located. So you can thankfully just hide when you're in trouble.

Chengeling campaing is OP as hell. You can rush high tier units almost as soon as you have gold, if you make good buildings that is. His forsaken can become pretty insane with over 100 WS (without frenzy) and the schemes are insane all on their own: faction wide WS, armor Also Blue cribes with Chainsword are hilarious: you can pump out necessary kills in few minutes and get to 1.8 K WS (not counting self buffing)
