From 1973 to 1984, Eugene hosted the Nike OTC Marathon, producing some of the fastest times in the country including a women’s world record and four women’s American records.
Established in 2007, The Eugene Marathon serves as the present-day premier marathon in the city. Thousands of participants from around the world "Run in the Footsteps of Legends" on the roads of Track Town, U.S.A
