Thanks for the recap. I'm from Bentonville and I'm running the Eugene Marathon 2024 in 4 days! Such a cool town. So much great running history. I"m looking forward to crossing the finish line on the track at Hayward Field!

Agreed! I've never seen another race that has almost a commemorative medal. More places should do something like this!

We were a little preoccupied during the run. Plus that was before I was introduced to the wonderful world of birding 🤷♂️. Are lots of cool birds in that area?

THE RAPTOR SANCTUARY WAS CLOSED!! I saw a vulture tho. It was hot.

I would absolutely run Eugene again! I think running the half and taking it a bit more easy would be a blast. Really getting to take in the course and finish would be nice as well!
