12:58 YES!!!! This part is my favorite scene and why I have eagerly awaited the new upload to the Mr. Z in Korea series weekly. Last week, I commented that Mr. Z isn't just intrigued by the flavors. He's also carefully tasting and deciphering the different ingredients and combinations that create the flavors and at the same time he's also processing what other combinations he can create with the ingredients and flavors. This is why he insisted on trying the ginseng extract and Achim Hetsal at the bar (Where Josh surprised him with a trip to Korea), suggested the caviar with the Gimbap and syringe injection of tteok-bokki sauce, added the kimchi and bossam to the broth (last week), and suggested the Soju mix with the naengmyeon in this vid. As a home cook and one who enjoys food and food flavors, I definitely try to do the same thing, but with Mr. Z being the caliber of chef that he is, I knew his flavor insights would be next level. It's a great series can't wait for next week.

음 사실 한국인들은 냉면육수에 소주를 자주먹습니다 소주를 먼저 마시고 냉면육수를 한수저 떠먹죠 저는 어제도 먹었습니다 😅

This is so amazing to watch. Seeing a master class chef being so astounded by the quality of the food, and the being surprised by the flavours of meats he has tried thousands of times in his life, is just incredible. and on top of that, he still tries to experiment on his own, while trying these out. It shows his expertise, when he can just tell that the soup would work well together with the soju. And he is so excited to share his creations with the other chef as well. This might have been my favourite episode of the series so far.

The Chef trying the "new" combination of the soup and soju was my single favorite part of this. That made me giddy.

I am sooo happy, that Ollie ordered those crazy sandwiches from Mr. Z. This friendship is everything! I love this series!

It really puts into perspective how he’s not just an Italian snob. He is very critical of cheap American food, not because he’s judgmental, but because he is truly an expert of flavor.

I literally could not stop smiling ear to ear while watching. Seeing Josh have a food ecstasy is nothing new, but seeing Mr. Z showing such a pure, euphoric reaction just brings such joy. And let’s not understate just how much that also means this restaurant’s food was just god tier. I don’t know when I’ll ever visit Korea again, but this place has just became a bucket list restaurant.

그런데 여기가 제일 유명하긴 한데 예약이 힘들머 다른 식당도 좋은곳 많고 해서 정작 제주도사람은 안가더라는 ~~\

i remember being in jeju on holiday, walking into a random kbbq restaurant and ordering black pork. it wasn't even a super fancy cut, just samgyepsal. it was the BEST pork i had in my life. amazing. been thinking about it ever since.

Here is the thing, probably I will never get there, but seeing MrZ, Josh and Luke enjoying eating in this restaurant gives me so much joy! It's like living vicariously through the experience you're showing and looks soooooooo good. Thank you Korean Englishman team for this.

Went last year for a month to Korea and spent the time mostly eating one of the best foods worldwide 🥰 the jeju black pork with abalone on grill was great!! Mouthwatering!

마지막 삼겹살 지방층이랑 살코기 비율이 예술이네 진짜 쥰내맛있겠다

저렇게 반응해주면 진짜 요리해주는 사람 신날거 같아 ㅋㅋㅋ

제 인생에 먹어본 돼지고기 중 최고 맛집였어요~식당앞에서 1시간30분을 기다려 화가 났던 마음이 육즙에 실려 샤르르 녹았었지요😂

👏👏This has got to be the best crescendo video ever of this series with chef Z so far! I love the way chef Z gives us his description of what he is tasting and my mouth is watering, Josh on the other hand is having his mind blown and Luke, you're a lucky man to be there as camera man! It would be nice to see Chef Z try some of that Korean Fried chicken others have claimed it makes them become emotional because it was that good, just like in those other videos, they made about it. I would love to see chef Z's take on that.

Such a shame it is only 15 mins, I could watch this for an hour and still enjoy Mr. Z's enthousiasme, his tasting and trying his own experiments based on his knowledge, Love this series!!!!!

That offers the best that they had with budgets for students, working class and exclusive where Josh had dine with his guest and team. Better then if even some of the high class restaurants have some events that offers tasting at an affordable price. I am saving up for a trip to Korea that should last at least four weeks , I am going primarily for the food.❤❤❤

What a fun adventure watching these Mr Z videos. It’s very engaging as if I’m there myself and it’s great having his insights and stuff while watching him genuinely enjoying himself, the food and the culture.

I love him adding soju to the soup and getting the chef to try it. Wow!

I'm a pastry chef bit different but I can't help but smile when I watch Mr z light up trying this food because I 100% get it. Chefs get so excited to try different new food and learn the process ect it's just so heart warming to watch him in his element discovering new dishes that sparks his passion. I think this is my favorite series you have done so far

Oh my God! You guys are so great for showing this video! I will probably remember this video for the rest of my life, because I will always be haunted by the thought of trying professionally cooked pork! You revealed and showed so many examples of preparation and tastes that I can’t even imagine how DELICIOUS it is!!!

Great to see Mr. Z exploring the similarity of Korean Pepper pastes to tomato. My wife has tomato sensitivity and we've found gochujang and ssamjang very helpful as a substitute. I loved his "Bloody Mary Soju"!

Recently, I travelled Jeju island with my families and visited Sugseongdo in Jeju city twice during single trip. Amazing restaurant and literally it's one of best black pork place I've ever been. And this restaurant is already too famous to just drop by. You need to queue when they open for lunch or dinner. Have good trip Mr.Z and Koream Englishman team.

This whole trip Mr. Z has had a huge smile on his face! He's truly a happy man!
