This is The Revolutionary Human Diet that STICKS! | Eric Edmeades

In this Mindvalley Live Los Angeles talk, founder of globally renowned ‘Wildfit’ Eric Edmeades is about to share a revolutionary concept in the world of health and fitness that STICKS! 🥬🏋️ Want Eric’s top health tips? Watch this next 👉go.mindvalley.com/mE4VHTIL
There are hundreds of diets...and it’s a fact that every time you go on one, statistically it’s very probable that it won’t actually lead to long term weight loss 🤯
Something is very dysfunctional about modern dieting - and most of them are far from healthy…
So why is WildFit so different?
WildFit isn’t so much a diet...it’s a lifestyle. Every animal has a ‘diet’, one that lasts a lifetime, and so do humans. WildFit is just that - the human diet that sticks 🙋
Through carefully planned psychological techniques to strengthen your food angel 👼
...and weaken that food devil...😈

I’m 7 minutes in & I have to stop to say Hallelujah! I literally want to drop to my knees in tears and say thank you for your words about parenting and motherhood. I’ve been struggling with the fact that my life has been completely crushed by caring for my two beautiful children .....not completely alone but in great part alone. The bulk of the responsibility falls to me. I don’t even recognize myself half the time. I struggle with how I feel about it too. Beating myself up because I can’t do everything that I wish I could do because I’m buried under a mountain of laundry dishes and diapers. My life‘s work has been slipping away little by little and I don’t even know if I can get it back. I pray that I will somehow, but thank you for that acknowledgment. 🙏 It means a lot.

I think and it’s only a thought that when you crave high fat high carb foods like ice cream you emotionally just want your mum and to be held. That is what you are craving not the food. There are very few high fat high carb foods in nature. The main one is breast milk. But you are not a baby anymore so the trick is to deal with those emotions and give yourself the love you need. I know easier said than done. This also explains why you find it hard to not binge on say ice cream once you’ve started because babies are programmed to gorge on breast milk. It’s science not lack of willpower xxx

I would like to thanks Eric for this talk quoting Maya Angelou: Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” I hope Eric himself replies to the question I am about to ask because I feel very curious about it. In many Montessori schools baking is considered as a very important "practical life" activity. Does your daughter's Montessori school have chosen not to bake at all? Do they have a "Healthy Eating" programme? What are the alternatives to baking?

He's entertaining, i'll give him that. I don't usually eat because I'm feeling depressed. I know some that do, but I merely eat because I enjoy it. Regardless of whether you would classify it as an addiction or whatever. Talking about how people vilify sugar, and then a few minutes later, proceeding to vilify "the usual suspects" (pizza, ice cream, etc).

All carbohydrates are turned into sugar in the body. So cutting out table sugar is not enough. We need to learn to see the "sugars" in all the high carbohydrate foods that are packaged by the food industries. Read labels, and watch your intake of starchy foods such as flour based products, pasta, crackers, bread, rice and other grains, potatoes, and similar foods.

When I saw one of his shows years ago and heard this, it was a big wake up for moi. Now I notice (now that I'm 'aware') sugar in virtually every food due to the food industry's greed and total disregard for human health. For instance when looking at the more expensive 'Oat' bran bread, with OAT spelled in big letters, I thought this has to be more healthy with less sugar.....NOT. It has 5 grams of sugar per slice! The least expensive standard wheat bread (at least they say it is wheat, not white) had only 1 gram of sugar per slice and that's still too much. You don't need sugar to make bread anyway. Watch those labels, make your own as much as possible.

😀 . I guess people should learn intuitive eating( I believe there are courses for that), that's all. Not through the mind/ego like these guys are researching some fixed system, yet everybody argues about how their diet is the best and works. So what's the truth, every diet works to some degree if we cut off junk food.
