I think losing efficiency on several of your panels, not carrying enough spare parts like extra motors, controllers etc were the bane of your quest but heck, you achieved an astonishing feat of endurance and just a shame you ran out of luck towards the end. Next time you will be forewarned and forearmed, maybe do a collab with KZreadrs like Garage 54 and succeed.

(The wattage calculation I believe to be what the motor uses to make the the power it puts out, rather than what the motor puts out in watts to the road.... a slimy sales sales boast) Perhaps 4 motors of the type you used would have lowered the the motor/controller stress, but the the hub castings were still sketchy. Thank You for proving this suspicion to be right. ( perhaps suspension in back would have been been better with the swing like front with heavier hiem joint use to take load off hub casting? Idk) Maybe industrial motor controller would help... idk. I have my own idea I would maybe share with you, but only directly with you... one day I hope to use the idea. -continued:

Congratulations, you live, the car still alive. I am so sorry you both take a beating. You proved many things i suspected would be a problem, and you proved some suspicions were right, I am grateful to you. Heim Joint size. Side stress on hub casting of wheel choice. Lack of battery matrix usage (Nicola Tesla suggestion on battery bank discharge use) Unventilated Hub Motors ( I have not liked most available "Hub Motors") because they are made for a use that is less than how they are promoted, coils must be cooled. They are never produced with adequate cooling, they have no ventilation, and the heat sinking dynamics are wrong. Most hub motors are made to be stealthy, and look innocent, as if to look like not what they are, they are produced to look as not what they are. They produced to be light weight and short on life. continued:

You learned a lot and you can use this information to make a better version next time. every failure leads to success. There are heatsinks you can buy for ebike wheels. Try a Solar powered sterling engine. extreme heat and cold degrades battery efficiency, computer fans could have pushed air on it.

@Kreosan English - Everything that is installed can break down ... Electric Cars are in this regard no different to fuel cars ... smaller wheels help with mountains but reduce speed & have more problems with rubble streets ... The motors were overstressed & had NO cooling at all ... BTW: batteries don't like heat & frost at all ... while solar panels are more efficiant when (water-) cooled... you used the perfect water to get diseases ... OMG @ 13:20 your eyes are really red & fingernail is really long (mine would break) ... Please use Kilometers (like most of the world & your equipment shows) instead of Yankee "Miles" (at least you spared us from degrees Fahrenheid that only USA uses) ...
