But the moms on the sinks will also bake some chips on some forks twirling and being really nice as well. Tim I absolutely LOVED this video it made me cry of emotion, as I use to live in Tanygrisau growing up as a child and it brought back so many memories. I've walked up that hill hundreds of times, and sat around that very lake for hours on end. Most of my childhood memories are of this area. When I was there the house you got kit up in was derelict, and I have a photo of myself as a child in there with sheep! Our house was right by the entranceway near the car park. Seeing it after all these years, hardly anything having changed, was so surreal. I showed the video to my parents last night and we watched it twice through, they loved it too. Thank you so much for doing this video 🙏

Back in the 80s, I stayed down an underground limestone mine (more properly called a "Quarry") with some friends. We used to explore the mines every weekend with a group of friends. These are situated near the villages of Box and Corsham, in Wiltshire. We actually slept in bivvy bags and small tents. On this one occasion, we stayed overnight. Strange noises were the worst thing .... mostly from the sound of water dripping from the roof down onto various rocks puddles, but the imagination running wild made sleep difficult. Unlike Tim's experience, we had to put up with extremely high humidity, approaching 90%. Occasionally, we could hear the unsettling sound of trains passing through the famous Box Tunnel which was only a few hundred feet from our location.

Several questions came to mind: 1) evacuation plan for the hotel, is there one? 2) If someone got hurt, do the paramedics come down there to haul them out? 3) are there earthquakes in the area, and if so, would one get trapped in the rubble deep down? 4) how often do they change the sheets, because hauling out all that laundry and human waste in bags and the trash is a mind-boggling feat 5) what happens if there was a power failure, are there generators that will kick on for electricity? 6) is there cellular service down there in the event of an emergency?

Where to begin Tim, by far the most enjoyable video I have actually watched on KZread, I didn’t know this even existed, for a start the scenery outside of was absolutely spectacular, then there is there is the whole experience, accommodation looks amazing. Hard to believe all the people who worked in these mines long before health and safety. It’s not just a hotel, it’s a whole experience and something I will definitely do myself. Just wow :)

This just confirms how bad my claustrophobia is, watching this in doing short, quick, shallow breaths. No amount of money would make me go down there 😅 my nightmare

What a brilliant video! I love when you go a bit off-piste and do something different! I love your sense of humour re The Descent! That was the first thing that came to my mind when I realised what you were doing 😂 I wonder how all the furniture etc got down there...
