I'm a Venezuelan, when he said that we are a country desperately trying not to fall a part I really felt that, it was really emotional, so much bad stuff has happened to us from all the sides possible, and it's really hard to explain to someone who doesn't live here how fucked all of this is, it is as bad as he says in the video. But you can only know the true story when you experienced in your own flesh, I've watched people come and go out of this country only staying a week or a month, it's not enough only when this country has its clutches on your life, you will now know why you are probably doomed for ever. right now I watch the situation in America and the only thing I can say is, to whatever side of the political spectrum you might be on: please, take care of your country, protect it, don't ever let it fall in the darkness we are in now, for people like me, America might be the only hope of finding a place where I could live and be happy, stay safe and good day from Anzoategui as I wish good fortune to the free land of the whole continent of America

Yeah. If you look at whats happening in South Africa with the BRUTAL farmer murders it defies belief that america have all those protests and publicity about a handful of deaths meanwhile countries where shit is really bad dont get any international coverage!?

@@po3n Because Americans care about what happens with America. Not some third rate country in Africa. It's the same for any citizen in any country. Also this is such a dumb argument and deflection. So just because some place in the world is worst means we have no problems or we shouldnt try to fix them? We wouldn't be able to fix anything in this country with that attitude. The fact that you are comparing America to third world countries is insulting.

@@blindeagleace3629 You are the one who is deflecting. No one said Americans shouldn't care about their own country more than others. We're talking about international media coverage here. Why is it that I, who lives on the other side of the world and is 0% American, sees SO MUCH more news and trending topics that are saturated with shit that goes on there like it's the center of the planet while mum's the word for all the other things happening that DESERVES the same energy and attention if not more. I didn't know anything about Venezuela before this video. What they're trying to say is not to stop caring about your country, but maybe just TRY to see it in another fucking perspective for once and trust me THAT will help "fix" things.

I cried during the last part of the video. I'm Venezuelan as well and I'm struggling to get out. You have no idea how much I appreciate a big channel like yours talking about what's happening here; because the government will do everything they can to hide the disgusting things they've done. P.S.: It's actually banned to put "starvation" as the cause of death, and violent death rate is much higher than that. I know that because my father works at a morgue in the capital and nearly 50 people are brought in dead by a violent cause EVERY WEEKEND.

My parents are Salvadorean immigrants who were fleeing from the situation of the civil war in El Salvador. My parents used to say how you couldn't even trust the government to handle gang violence because they were corrupt as well. They used to say how there were a lot of bodies in the streets, just piled up on the side. My dad claimed he got a death threat despite never being involved with gangs or the government. I always wanted to take a trip to see where my parents and two eldest sisters were born and grew up, but I'm too afraid of getting "disappeared" or murdered. If my parents didn't flee from El Salvador, my sisters and I would've never existed.

I'm from Venezuela. I can vouch for this videos claims. But to be honest, after he mentioned El Salvador I thought he wasnt going to mention Venezuela. So I was ironically shocked to hear Venezuela at the end of the video, even though I originally clicked on the video, suspecting that it was gonna be mentioned. Thanks for Thoughty2 for getting the word out there. I hope that we as Venezuelans are able to wake up and somehow overthrow the tyrants that claim themselves to be our saviours, perhaps with the help of the international community.

Krakatoa dealt a blast so loud, it was 194 dB - the theoretical maximum our atmosphere can carry. It would have reached 310 dB if our atmosphere could carry it (Batavia Gasworks saw a pressure spilke equal to 172 dB ... 100 miles away). And the shock wave travelled around the world 3.5x ... in each direction, meaning it was actually 7x it rounded the earth.

As a Venezuelan I can't thank you enough for addressing our horrible situation, I live in Europe. Like the 5 million Venezuelans that have fled the country we come across lots of people who are clueless about our situation and prefer to defend a tyrannous dictator committing genocide against his own people just because he's left wing. Most of the news from Latin America that come to Europe do so through Spain because of the language barrier. And unfortunately, all the oil money is used by the Venezuelan regime to buy press and media and silence the news in Spain. Google this because Venezuelan relatives to politicians have become incredibly wealthy and have bought most of the stocks for mayor TV stations, Press and even found political parties like Podemos. We face an international media blackout and very little information makes it to the surface. Really 42 I admire your courage to address our anguish with facts and the research you had to do in order to find all this information. My respect and admiration! I follow you since 2017 and you always have something beautiful to say

I met her because she landed in my country with her husband and kid on the back of a job offer. She always said it was bad, but never spoke about it. Cried thinking of extended family she couldn't help back home beyond consistently buying supplies for and sending back. I never, ever knew it was so horrific. It's dark, seeing the impotent rage in them unable to really help, even as a bystander. I wish you all well and safe.

Hint: India’s population is 1,36 billion ppl, while Australia's only 25 millions... so the animal induced death rate in Australia is much higher than India's if you consider the number of deaths in India in the observed period were “only” 15 times higher but a with a population 51 times bigger than Australia is. Of course, this doesn’t consider the ability of the two countries to report and count this kind of deaths, after all it's easier to get eaten by a tiger in the jungle in India and disappear. But, still, those are the numbers we need to deal with. 😉

@@StreakyBaconMan That's actually an argument for the contrary. The more population density a country has the less its fauna is a danger to its people. Why? Because civilization destroys habitats and protects us from the wild world. Living on the 10th floor in an apartment is a damn good way of not dying from flying snakes or elephants, don't you think? Even while being in the wild, Indians are better protected than Australians because they're usually not alone, they go in groups of 10 or more.

I was born in Venezuela and I was lucky to move out when I was younger. Back then, the situation was not so bad since Socialism just came to rule the country. Today, a large part of my family still lives there, including my father, and you have described the country exactly as they do. DO NOT GO THERE! I have not been in the last 12 years and even my own family discouraged me to do so. Great videos by the way!

I lived in El Salvador for 3 years its not as bad as thoughty2 explains. There's areas in certain cities in the US you don't want to go to, its the same for El Salvador. There is good areas where if your skin is pale your fine but go to a bad area where most salvadoreans will let you know, if you ask, not to go you're good

@@canooples5134 It is so in almost all areas that only certain areas are bad. You can avoid a lot by choosing who you hang out with and at what times you are where. Read that in Bogotar 95% of the murders take place at 2% of the city's addresses. I live in Sweden and here the gang murders have increased a lot (still at a low level compared to North and South America. But I am not afraid even though it happens during the day on the open street, because they only murder each other and in certain areas.
