This village has a 100% literacy rate. Its not just that village but that entire part of the state is clean like that. You missed out on the Root bridges near Mawlynnong. If I knew you were coming to Meghalaya, I would have been so happy to prepare an itinerary for you to see some of the touristy as well as non touristy places.

Bro other most parts of India is not even 0.001% clean compared to this village. Even I live in northeast and most parts are dirty except village areas unlike in sates like Bihar,UP even village areas are mostly dirty.

Villages are always clean & calm in northeast than cities. Tbh i don't like living in cities, bcz cities are always crowded & noisy. Though I had a lot opportunity to live in city but still I always choose villages to live.

Shillong is Switzerland of Northeast 😂. Its a tradition to go there in summer season. But due to global warming shillong's climates is very much changed now 😢

Try Shillong weed ❤ and visit Nagaland too
