The Indian subcontinent was divided on the basis of religion primary Hindu and Muslim. Muslims don't want to live with hindus in the same country so India was partitioned between muslim majority Pakistan and Hindu majority India after that so many muslims choose to live in India and so many times complaint about it after dividing India and formed their seperate Islamic nation Pakistan. So that's the whole story by the way A person (Dr.BABASAHAB AMBEDKAR, belongs to a lower cast)who wrote THE CONSTITUTION of India said I BORN AS HINDU DOESN'T DIED AS ONE. And afterwards writes the constitution of India and in France a newspaper published a carton of PROPHET MOHAMMAD and some Islamist beheaded those poor people. I hope these stories gives you the better understanding about which religion is tolerant, more free, believe in coexistence and which is not

India is pretty much intolerant against ANY other religon. Its not just about Islam, same with Christianity. Not for every Indian of course, but definitly a significant amount. Even many laws are completely intolerant against religions, many people believe in stupid bullshit conspiracy theories like love jihad, a lot of people agree on "to be a true indian, you have to be hindu". Dont want to destroy your bubble, but this country is intolerant, waaayyyyyy to nationalistic and optimistic for the standard of living and far away from doing well. At lot of things have improved, especially the economy, but there is still so much shit going on which is simply ignored. And yes, I know this account is just about worshiping, but I can guarantee you, usually this is not the point of view from most foreigners.

I went to the Netherlands in December 2017 for work from Bangalore. I was only there for a week. On the day I was supposed to leave, there was this unexpected heavy snowfall that stopped all the public transport. The whole city went into panic mode, with everyone trying to get home as quickly as possible in their own cars. As an outsider relying entirely on public transport and without a cell phone, I had to walk from HTC to the city center through four feet of snow, completely soaked, and no one offered me a ride. In Bangalore, even if there’s a curfew, some random stranger will help you get home safely. Edit: I'm not trying to show the Netherlands in a bad light-people there are generally helpful. But when things go wrong, they panic quickly, and it becomes every man for himself. Before leaving, I went to a local bar, and the bartender asked how my experience in the Netherlands had been so far. I told him this story, and he apologized that I had to go through that and offered me a free beer.

@@ROHITKumar-gl6mm I know this as I have experienced it myself. But the population of Delhiites didn't suddenly grew to this extent. Trust me this wasn't the case 7-8 years ago, I lived in Mumbai for 6 years but before that I used to live in Delhi and the crowd was highly manageable and almost all the roads were open and you could drive a car without any issue. But now since AAP has made electricity and water free, it has brought large number of migrants from Bihar. Most of the E-rickshaws are unregistered and they also get to charge it for free. Also, they don't follow any rules and create ruckus almost everyday. Additionally, almost every segment of car size has increased significantly. Now a hatchback's size is close to a mini SUV and now everyone wants to buy an SUV, which is even bigger. Plus, the metro network have been expanded to outer regions of Delhi NCR, which is now bringing more people (chapri) who do not even know how to behave in public. Basically, Delhiites are the ones who are paying taxes and still suffering as most of us are either government employee or atleast come from a family where one of the parent is. But these political parties are now shifting the vote bank by bringing even more Biharis and then making their bihari politicians to stand in the elections to gather votes i.e. Manoj Tiwari, Kanhaiya Kumar.

Most people like him do that and try to justify. My friend even does that but after much nagging had stopped throwing plastic on road side. There are proper dustbins provided for that purpose. And underprivileged people can collect plastics from the garbage mountain where all the garbage from the city is thrown. It's better that way than making the city look unclean. Thank you.

Max, I have an awkward question, if Indians or people from other parts of the world (developing nations) live in the more developed western nations they are called “Immigrants” while we use the word “Expats” for the converse? Should we not ideally use the same word as they are more or less mean the same. Having said that I love your videos as they are insightful and natural. It is important to remove the facade and bring to the fore the happiness, sadness, anger, frustrations, excitement and every emotion possible. India is a multi-cultural country with a multitude of languages, religious beliefs, casts orientations, regional disparities, economic disparities. Despite all this, the Country still tries its best to move forward with all this baggage and slowly, surely, inevitably and eventually we will carve a niche out for ourselves.

Immigrants is a term for people who want to move permanently. Expat is a term for people moving temporarily with a job with no intention to stay unto death. Also immigration is a term used for large numbers and expats for small numbers.

It's not like anyone is trying to get along with anyone. That's why partition happened. That's why police stations got burnt down over a cartoon right there in Bangalore just a few years back. Or had 'Sar Tan Se Juda' rallies for calling their religion intolerant. The irony! Is that a sign of trying to get along? Why would anyone try to get along with such a community, unless out of fear? Serious introspection is needed when making such statements like 'trying to get along'.

I was disgusted by it because affording a garbage bin would've been nothing to this restaurant. These are little things that improve the quality of living. Make your motherland proud, don't insult her by throwing garbage onto the streets.

Generally, it's true. But in the case of India and Hinduism, the fight is not between two religions claiming supremacy or validation. In India, one side is claiming supremacy calling Hinduism invalid pagan sometimes satanic however on the other side Hinduism has been just defending & protecting, sometimes violently but for its survival & existence because they don't have the concept of supremacy & Conversions in Hinduism. THAT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE in Religious conflicts of Indians than a generic worldview problem. It's a civilization conflict where the oldest civilization & its native ideology is under threat by migrated ideologies of foreign civilizations. Moreover, that is also another reason why most Indians connect with Jews & Israel

The fact is that the world around India is very newly civilized in 3 -4 thousand years. Hindus have the oldest civilized practices they made the world how to live together with all faiths and believes. Because according to Hindus beliefs are just to discipline the individual/group as a social community entity to perform duties and harmonious actions. The faiths and believes can't be imposed to anyone else. The biggest problem of Majhabs (Abrahamics) is that they ban the social spiritual freedom of other religious people and than expect from those suppressed people to coexist. Bottom rule of Majhabs is to control people and use them is completely against the rule of Nature & life. It is something inherited in their origin whereas Hindus patience and practices basically stands on equanimity.😊
